I am not sure if the war area/influence achievements improve with additional influence, but it would be nice to earn more cheevo points as your influence in an area grows. I have 1000 in fortune city and so far it has stayed at 100 points...

They said that the cheevos might scale with influence gained if they so choose to do so and personally I hope this is the case. Everyone other legion vs exile war had these and those are great motivators in wars.
