If they did that every time a war comes the war will start, and when everyone see's what side is winning they will just jump to that side like they did in the frostland war. I was made with pure varium so everyone wouldn't do that, plus since it isn't a game breaking feature it can stay varium only.

Lycus -> RE: Changing allignment in gold (7/23/2013 16:41:01) For now this is a Varium player only benefit, which gives Varium players another bit of flexibility in the game to thank them for supporting us! The game includes gold options for the large majority of things within the game now and as a result, we do need to make sure that those who do choose to purchase Varium and support us should receive at least some bonuses. So for those reasons, for now at the very least, it will remain a Varium only privilege.
