I believe a similar thread was created a while back, but I'm not entirely sure, so sorry if that's the case.

Right now I'm playing on my lvl 20 TM, and I'm unable to upgrade my weapon(s) simply because I can't afford it. My suggestion is to make each level-up come with free weapon upgrades for all your currently equipped weapons and armour, seeing as you worked your way up to your current level. Right now, I'm not able to afford any upgrades for my Auxiliary weapon, then what is even the point of having one if I can't afford to upgrade it in early levels. Sure, I could farm credits, but by then I will have leveled up and once again not be able to afford a full upgrade of my weapon.

You probably disagree in some way, which isn't surprising for a forum, so go ahead and tell me why this shouldn't be implemented.

Not supported.

you can easily get credits for upgrades by battling NPC as well as battling other players. By the time you level up as long as you don't waste your credits you should have more than enough money to update you weapons and armors.

Haha, some people actually do manage to get into the trouble of being poor and not being able to get anything. When I started my account, I didn't buy a lot of things. I kept Weapons until they didn't do a lot of damage. When I reached the level cap, I was able to afford a lot of things. [;)]


This is something that will benefit you a lot and maybe others too. What's really happening is that you're getting something(s) for free which is acceptable in some cases.
If this was to happen, there's no point of buying new gear because you can stick with your current gear right until you reach the level cap.

@Mother1, as it stands right now, you are not able to /fully/ upgrade your gear at lower levels, yet it's still /possible/ to upgrade them, you just can't afford it unless you have varium. What is even the point of letting me upgrade my gear stats at lower levels, if I can't afford it? I'm guessing this is another benefit from purchasing varium, which I guess is fair enough.

But you really can't deny that as a level 10 player, you're stuck with either primary weapons and a sidearm that are both level 5, or you decide not to get a gun until later on and have a level 10 primary weapon. At least this is usually the case unless you buy varium or farm NPCs, which again would prevent you from gaining Exp, so why not PvP and gain both Exp and Credits at the same time? My point is that as a F2P low level player, you are forced to either not have an auxiliary and/or sidearm weapon, because it's simply too expensive, and this all takes away your full potential as a player, imo. Hence my suggestion. [8|]

You can do missions to get free items and Credits, which can aid you greatly. Once daily missions are created, it'll be much easier. An example was collecting Purified Spores which did work like daily missions, in a way.

And giving away free updates to weapons everytime you level up or free updates period takes away something you can do with varium. They are running a business, and with their latest change in omega they made varium a shortcut. Not too much of a short cut if you make things that you need credits or varium for free now is it?

soo i'm level 35 already will i recieve nothing from it?
Not that i complain but some people think this way...If you want to make a change think how will it affect the whole players, in different situations.That why ballancing classes it's such a pain in the rear.

@Necromantres, I never said a level 35 would have problems upgrading their gear, I'm talking lower levels. Since you're already level 35, one would only assume you are able to afford full upgrades as it is, unless you spent a ridiculous amount of credits on a new bike or the like.

I support, only if the free upgrades end at around level 15 as tgod suggested. There is a very small amount of players who spend varium between level1-15 so it's not like this company would be losing money. If anything this would help motivate players to level up and not quit halfway through as
A LOT of players do believe it or not.

Actually they would be since those people who do spend money on varium at that level (Mostly higher level players alts) Wouldn't bother to buy varium for their alts. I mean why should any low level player be it main account or alt pay for updates with varium when they can get them for free?

Also remember they changed NPC from being limited to unlimited at the cost of wins, influence and EXP (from levels 1-10) for the soul purpose of giving the players a way to farm credits so they can update their equipment.

The game is either work for what you want (the Free to play way) or get it quick by buying Varium (the Pay to play way)
