So they even admit with the latest update, that allowing faction changes, even though it is through varium alone, that they're afraid of a severe shift in the balance of the two factions.

Yet despite them being fully aware, they do nothing to take precautions. They could EASILY have created mindful restrictions. Swayed the battle to a more balanced direction. Allowing a Faction change in only one direction, allowing only a limited amount of faction changes to have been purchased during a time. They could have offered certain minimal extra bonuses to the losing faction, credits/exp/influence in an effort to gain more of a population balance. But no. Noooo. That would make to much sense. Instead every weak minded Legion player who could purchase varium has instead switched over to the long time winners of Exile. Good thinking to the game designers. Awesome. Well done.

Seriously, this isn't the first game to have had opposing factions and issues with maintaining population balance. Yet they didn't bother to take a single look at any of the other fixes that have been around for years before allowing faction changes. Doesn't make any sense.

Ok let me think? while I agree with some of this giving rewards and help to the losing side of the war? doesn't sound right to me. Personally they should have done what they did in the infernal war instead.

(In other words make so the players would have to choose a side they want and then they can't change sides until the end of the war.)

Scyze -> RE: Legion VS Exile: Faction Change. (7/23/2013 22:31:37)

Yes my friend, they can do almost anything they think of in Flash. Why do you think that the Developers changed into Flash CS5 and not stay with CS3? There are restrictions in Flash and you always cannot do whatever you want.

Yes the Developers could have done all of this but would there be much point? Maybe they have thought of the ideas we think of but never find it good?

Steel Slayer -> RE: Legion VS Exile: Faction Change. (7/24/2013 5:47:32)

Lets not forget the other good idea they had in Infernal war, putting in NPC's to help control wait times. That woulda made the whole legion vs exile thing actually work, instead of needing to be scrapped and breaking the war.

Mother1 -> RE: Legion VS Exile: Faction Change. (7/24/2013 6:32:12)

2 reasons why that won't be done

1 back in that war NPC were still being used to get wins off where they aren't now

2 The staff wants the game to be pvp not pve which was explain even before omega started. so unless they are willing to break this rule NPC won't come into the war.

Caspyin -> RE: Legion VS Exile: Faction Change. (7/24/2013 20:12:09)

Oh ok. Well aslong as all of the exiles (the majority) are satisfied in your easy wins each day, lets not change anything at all. Good call. Clearly I'm wrong. Watching the same faction win every single day clearly isn't a sign of an unbalanced population at all. Yes. Lets not fix anything or even give attention to the problem.

...............(sarcasm).

@ caspyin

Did you not see the war from the start? If you had you would have also know before the next week update came legion had won 4 days straight without these ideas. Meaning that if legion players very well wanted to they could come together and take the war without the need of these ideas.

People wanted faction switches originally because due to the unexpected change that was made some were on the a side they didn't want to be and it wasn't fair. TBH they should have done this idea when they did the aliment lock down not several weeks after. It would have made more sense IMO.

I Underlord I -> RE: Legion VS Exile: Faction Change. (7/26/2013 10:56:17)

i fail to see how Exile is "winning." The now less impacting difference in numbers aside, Legions players tend to be both more active and more coordinated.
