Re-add old attack animations (Full Version)

Why were the old strike animations (ex: jump slash and uppercut) removed? The current attack animations seem plain and boring seeing as how there are only two different animations for primaries now (slash and double stab). Is it possible for the old ones to be re-added?

There were a LOT of old animations back in beta/alpha other than the strike--more than you can think of. And they all got removed because of lag....

There were a lot of frames in that "throw your Weapon in the air, grab it when it's coming down and use momentum and strength to deal damage" and all did was... slow battles for a lot of players. [:D]

It is possible (unless NightWraith deleted it) to bring it back but there's not much point. The game will run slow for a lot of people and it ruins fun. Seriously, who enjoys playing games when the fps is low?

can they at least bring back the old RAGE animation from when it first came out. It made RAGE look so epid

Or maybe they can add NEW animations that won't cause much lag and still look cool. Would be great to see someone pistol whip someone with their gun or smack em down with their aux. [:D] Then again, that would look like it really hurts.

I liked how the Hunter's strike animation could be 1 slash or 2 stabs.

Also, when overload was twice as big as of now, that was pretty epic. It could match Plasma Bolt's explosion effect.
