Heres the Discussion thread -> Initium fabulae: Spiritus Angelum Discussion

Prologue, Part 1 [0.1]

Unknown: “We have to get you and her to safety my lady”

Unknown: “Sir James, you know I’ll never go anywhere without my husband”

Sir James: “But Queen-“

Queen: “There’s no time for that Sir James, only one of us can go, and I don’t have much life left in front of me, take her instead”

Sir James: “But Queen you can’t-“

Queen: “I can do that, she is my daughter too. I can’t leave my husband and I won’t. My daughter must live to carry on the family name.”

Sir James: “As you wish my queen”

Queen: “Now go you don’t have much time, protect her James….I’m counting on you and give you my blessings”

Sir James: “Is there a name for her yet”

Queen: “No, let her new family choose her name”

Sir James: “As you wish my queen”

Queen: “Now go, you don’t have much time, here is the place you should take her, I hear it’s a good place for new starts, and here is the family’s name”

Sir James: “As you wish my queen”

As Sir James makes his way through the castles’ secret passage, he notices the babies beautiful blue eyes. He looks back at the queen, and sees tears dripping down from the Queens face. The secret passage door slowly closes and as it gets closer to closing the queen cries harder and harder. *SLAM* the secret passage door is now completely closed. He looks forward, and continues to walk the rest of the path forward. He notices an armor at the end of the passage with a note pinned on the side of it. He grabs the note and sees it’s enclosed. He sees it reads “To my daughter when the time is right”. He then collects the armor and puts it in his bag and puts the note in his carrying pouch. He sees the girl is now sleeping. Sir James looks to his right and sees a horse with compartment for a baby to strap in on it. Sir James thinks to himself…

Sir James: “Hmm I never have seen one of these. Also I noticed everything is prepared like they were expecting this, that is very odd because the queen only planned this 2 days prior once we learned of the attack.”

He puts the baby on the compartment and gets on the horse. Sir James comes across a bridge and he notices some soldiers on the other end. He gives the horse the signal to slow down and slowly walk up to the Soldiers…

Sir James: “Hey you what are you doing here?”

Unknown: “ARRGH”

Sir James: “Oh no, more undead soldiers!”

Sir James attacks the undead soldiers and barrels them into the water underneath the bridge. More questions arise in his head…Why is everything so well prepared? Why are undead around this area? Why does the baby already have her own armor? Did they know this attack was coming? Despite all his questions he rides on. He arrives at a humongous mountain; he rides up the mountain and notices the castle is barely in sight to his left. Fires and smoke is steaming from the castle. He then notices a flying dragon with what appears to be a castle on the back of it. He looks ahead and rides faster ahead to sea…to his and the babies destination.

He finally gets to the sea after riding for a day and making a few stops. There is a boat with a man waiting, Sir James takes his bags and grabs the baby and approaches the man…

Sir James: “Hello, sir”

Unknown Man: “What…What? Oh it’s you. About time! I’ve been waiting on this blasted dock for 2 days now!

Sir James: “Well we are here now”

Unknown Man: “Well I see that now mate! Me name is cap’n Rhubarb.”

Sir James: “Well hello there captain Rhubarb…you’re a captain but where’s you'r crew?”

Captain Rhubarb: “Well I didn’t need my crew for this mate. It’s a easy job. All it is is a pick up and drop off”

Sir James: “I see….”

Captain Rhubarb: “Anyways, I see smoke coming from the forest far off”

Sir James: “It’s a day’s travel back west. The castle we came from is still burning, I don’t even know if the citizens made it out…”

Captain Rhubarb: “Sad to here that matey. The man that called me here was a good man…”

Sir James: “That he was…”

Baby: *Whines*

Captain Rhubarb: “Who’s baby that be?”

Sir James: “The Kings…it’s a girl”

Captain Rhubarb: “Well looks like she thinks we are wating too long, I hope you and yer baby don’t get sick now”

Sir James, Captain Rhubarb and the baby board the boat and travel, Captain Rhubarb tells them it should be a 3 days travel to the North…
