Prize codes are never going to have a perfectly working system, in terms of, there will always be people who complain. For anyone who does watch the Suggestion section, every time a prize code is given out, at least one person who did not manage to get the item, will come on here, complain and suggest something that allows them to get the item.
What we can do as a team is make sure all item codes given out are as fair as possible, so for example, we have worked on trying to give out codes for items at many different times in a day or a couple of days to give people a chance for those in different time-zones. Then once a while, one may be given during the week, but once again, as Trans pointed out, some people are busy at the weekends and not during the week - this gives those people a chance. As can be seen already, most of the codes are given at weekends, especially when there are big code runs through the day. However to be fair, some are given during the week, for those who may not be able to get it at the weekend. Again, we know people who can get it at the weekend may get the week ones to, but this is not something we can stop or change, we simply control when the codes are given and the system that works with them - not how people use them.
Locking this up since these types of suggestion to do with Prize codes are all over the place!
