Bare with me here, Ok I haven't played epicduel in a while and idk if merc is balanced or not but what if bunker buster was turn into a hybrid skill. It could do damage based of the opponet's def and res. I think it could fix these crazy crits we get.

Bunker is balanced right now. No need to change it.

Bunker blaster is made to deal high damage. It ignores 20% of defenses, and has high crit chance. Making subtract from both defense and resist would make it extremely weak unless dealing with glass cannons.

There's only a 25% chance that Bunker Buster does critical damage so if you're seeing intense amount of critical damages, then the person is just lucky. Mercenaries are fine right now and there's no need of new Skills.

If this new Skill will do damage based on the opponent's defenses, there's not much point in replacing Bunker Buster. It ignores 20 if the opponent's Defense and it's rather nice.

Plus to add. Support increases Crit chance as well Mercenary is (IMO) the only class that is balanced right now and it doesn't need to be fixed.

Not true at all.

Try:
40-46 tech + Bunker Buster
40-46 tech+ Plasma bolt

You will see that Plasma does much more damage then bunker.

That's why Bunker has 20% ignore of defences and 25% chance to Crit which accounts for 11.25% damage boost over time - (0.45 / 4 = 0.1125). Although despite the fixed boost, it's highly dependent on your opponent's defences thus it varies.

Just because Plasma Bolt can do more damage doesn't change the fact that Bunker is supposed to do high damage.

It's like saying Jack-o-Fire is weak because Thorn Assault does more damamge. Derp.

Hm, I played quite a few battles with merc and i see one problem.....we have a useless skill. Wanna guess what it is?

While I don't use adrenaline for my merc alt, that doesn't mean it isn't useful. Many builds besides support builds use this skill and it is also has a mind game quality which is very useful for smart players. Just because it takes brains to use certain things doesn't mean they are worthless.

I don't use adrenaline because I don't see my character gaining anymore rage than normal :/

Mercs are pretty balanced right now. Atom smasher regaining energy makes bunker a skill you can loop, and with enough energy you can do it 3 times in a 2v2 or jugg battle, if the battle lasts long enough and you don't use the energy for something else that is.

I usually get clobbered with my alt mage when i face merceneries. Why? Well because they have hybrid armor so they dont really need to bulk up their defenes as much as a tech mage and can spam tech as high as me or around there and have more defense. The only times i win agaisnt them if they dont use a bunker/atom smasher build with hybrid. My plasma only does about 20 damage on them and their bunker wipes about half my health if they land a crit.
