Level 6: 26%
Level 7: 28%
Level 8: 30%
Level 9: 32%
Level 10: 34%

Weapon Required: None
Stat Required: None
Level Required: 5
Improves With: Strength
Warm Up: 0
Cool Down: 2

Ignores 10% defense/resistance and burns opponents energy at 30% of damage dealt.

Feedback would be appreciated; if you think this skill is unbalanced please give a reason why.

Buff level 1 to 15% and progress the scaling by 3% until you reach level 3, then drop to 2%

I.e.
Level 1: 15%
Level 2: 18%
Level 3: 21%
Level 4: 23%
Level 5: 25%
Level 6: 27%
Level 7: 29%
Level 8: 31%
Level 9: 33%
Level 10: 35%

Like that.

nice skill, but doesnt need energy burn. bludgeon is just a lil to strong right now on bm. and make it 30% at max(to make up for defence ignore)

and you mean sword/staff? it is for bloodmage, not mercs.

Due to the high attack. So taking that down a bit and giving energy burn (which the class lacks) will help balance and reduce the OP.

maybe take away defence ignore? that is a very nice skill you thought of.

it still does roughly the same damage vs tanks, with an energy burn. so maybe take away defence ignore, buff energy drain to 30% and nerf damage by 4% at all levels. [:D]

and give it 1 turn coodown. maybe make energy cost 30 at max.

well, not op. look at its high energy cost. and its low energy drain. relies on hitting high. if you hit 40, you would get12 energy burn(30%). and 40 would be a crit, or rage. so making it spammable seems fair.

1-turn cooldown for a % Damage skill with 30% Energy burn according to the damage dealt?

I don't think so. The Energy cost isn't that high even for a class with limited Energy like Blood Mage.

Would still become over-powered. A 4-turn cooldown would do because not only you're having to wait 4 turns to burn 30% of the opponent's Energy but this would also be similar with Static Smash but it has %'s improving the Damage which will make it more over-powered than SS.

sega, look at its energy cost. compare30% bonus damage to bludgeon. compare the damage. then compare it to double strike. bm doesnt need energy burn but it needs a strong bludgeon. they rely on damage and efficiency, and bludgeon is stronger and more efficient than this new move. a lvl 5 bludgeon will be as strong as this new skill, but costs less. so it can be spammed more. so this new bludgeon, is actually weak. just realised IT DOESNT NEED A CHANGE! wait till passives to actives. no bloodlust for insader bludgeon hp regain.
