There is a buzz around the town of Falconreach. It would appear a dark cloaked stranger has made rest at Serenity's Inn for the last few weeks. The youth made no eye contact and spoke only to rent the room or to order bread. Neighbors hear the sounds of a dog growling, scratching of wood, and indiscernible gibberish spoken at night. Since the stranger spoke to no one, this bred curiosity and with curiosity comes gossip and rumor.
Round the town fountain men and women discuss what the stranger could be doing at the late night hours, most of which monstrous and foul acts.
"He is trying to commune with dark spirits!" Bellowed the red faced lumberman
"I heard he is devising a way to take over Falconreach." Said plump farmer's wife.
"I believe he is trying to build a giant monster out of the towns left socks and rubber fishes! The monster!" Proclaimed the not-quite-there Cysero.
With these dark rumors spreading around town, the stranger's presence obviously would soon spread to the Hero
