Dual Thrusters -> Combinations! (8/2/2013 13:05:50)

I have an idea! What if, when we use some moves in a specific order, a respected effect would come into play?

For example: If I use Strike, Intimidate, and then Reflex Boost. A pop-up would appear: "Combination Succesfull! Gained 10 technology"

I don't think that this a really good speculation for starters but I do think that this would be added to the tutorial section of the game.

On the other hand, this is great! But I do think that unsuccessful combinations will annoy players A LOT. This may also create bugs.

I support this but only after current classes are balanced
The combos might actually have some weak moves like stun grenade useful if used like a combo
For example, poison type skill+stun grenade=Combo 1 more point to poison
This can make 2vs2 more fun as well like stun grenade+maul= bonus damage if double stun

Cheap Shot+Massacre+Bloodlust = Damaging heal => +2% heals recieved from any source for 3 turns...
This ideea it's something like in MechQest isn't it?

This would seem very fun and all that but you have to think how the dev's are going to have to develop this idea.

This isn't going to be easy and this would turn into a HUGE update for EpicDuel.

There are going to be a lot of complaints about over-powered combinations players have learned to use in a specific class.

Not supported.

This can be risky and this would need serious work and that means that everyone would start contributing and by that I mean, seasonals would be postponed till a month after or next year.

They will only be minor buffs, like +1 res, gain 2 health etc.

What difference would that make?

Besides, it's too much big of a suggestion. The combinations could ruin EpicDuel and disappointment would spread.

I don't think you get it.

I was talking about the "minor buffs" with low change such as +1 Resistance.
It's not a bad idea but I'm saying that it can ruin and break the game.

This is not a reason why it shouldn't be implemented. Titan and Rabblefroth are the bug exterminators, They're your friends.

This is the type of thing thats fun, but i would like too see a bigger list of moves and effects, since some things might be OP.

I can't support. Yet.

I didn't say impenetrable bugs. I was trying to say that it could create oddly many of bugs.

Major things should be implemented as well like if when you are trying to Stun someone, you can't Stun them again with Stun Blast and things relevant to that such as Azrael's Will.

I know, it's not a bad idea but it's a risky update which is why I remain Neutral to this suggestion.

It's understandable, but you can't consider things you don't know about. I'm pretty confident in the Devs ability to combat bugs before release time. And there's always the possibility that this isn't going to be game breaking and there won't be as much bugs as you think.

Not supporting an idea because bugs might come out of it makes it seem like you're just looking for reasons to not support it. I suggest having one or two strong points as apose to many small points.

Take one or two things and elaborate on them. That's the way you can help the suggestions section be a powerful tool for what the Devs think could work or will absolutely not work.

There's a small number of us representing the entire community.

Pretty legit, Chosen (!)

But the I am not really supporting or not supporting this idea at all.

I already told you, it's a creative idea but it can be risky.

All I am trying to say is chances many hidden bugs will occur and the dev's themselves wouldn't be able to spot them before the release time.

Yes, pretty understandable, I know. But it is inevitable to know that something won't ruin a game. Like you pretty much wrote.

If you know what I mean.
