Greed Redemption -> Allow gamestop giftcards to be used to redeem? (8/7/2013 23:38:10)

Well, my friend hbkillerman12 bought a 50$ gamestop card without knowing he could not use it for epicduel.
I was wondering if adding an option to use these gamestop cards, is it possible?

Tell me what you think. [;)]

Well that is all up to GameStop. Their points are different from Artix points.

True, I would like if they could though, I feel bad for my buddy, but I had to try something to help.

Tell him next time that they cards he needs to buy say Artix Entertainment on it. Ultimate Game Cards also work. [;)]

Maybe he can use that card he already bought on a console game?

It's difficult for these thing to work for multiple reasons. At the moment, that $50 used to purchase that gift card goes to Gamestop, if the points could be used towards AE, Gamestop would have to transfer some of that money to AE in order for it to be fair on AE to give those points. Gamestop may not particularly like that since it bites into the money that was securely their's and is there to use purely on there stuff or on things they have already organised deals with.

Other companies that do this with AE tend to be companies that do that kind of thing as their business, such as UltimateGameCards and so on. So the organisation of these things is not always easy sadly, as said, it is mostly down to Gamestop as to whether or not they'd be willing for it to happen, and/or whether AE can reach a fair deal with them. The biggest recommendation that can be given is to look at the AE Point purchasing page for the options before purchasing any cards or so on, to make sure they are supported! :)
