Discussion Question:

Trading equipment between characters on your own account only?

What would be the positive/negative effects of being able to trade equipment from one character to another so long as it was on your own account?

Obviously there are some easy ways this could have some negative effects. So what would be ways to minimize abuse?

For example:

- Trading a piece of a equipment would have a 1 month cool down?
- Can only trade up/down within 5/10/15 level range?
- Since ED is like any other business, trying to make a profit, fixate a Varium cost for trading?

Thoughts?

creds cost really high and for rares only

For positives of the second question

The varium player spends less money which is good for the player, but for the staff it is bad because the varium the players could be spending on those accounts they aren't because they have hand me down gear.

Originally in the other phases this would have caused huge balance issues since it would give alts an advantage over new players and could possibly cause newer players to quit due to overpowered low level alts with varium enhanced gear. Also it would devalue rares in the staff eyes since all one would need to do is buy the rares then trade them to another alt.

But overall Trading equipment will never happen no matter how many times it is brought up.

Isn't this supposed to be a suggestion? Or is it a hybrid thread [;)] .

I support only if you cannot trade Ultra-rares/Perma-rares, and has an ok credit price.

Because this feature has already been suggested and is in the =ED= Frequently Suggested Ideas *READ BEFORE POSTING*, there is no point in discussing this further. Threads like this always get locked and the Developers make the decision on how it is implemented. [:)]
