Does it matter which weapons I equip? Or are they all just for cosmetics?

All equipment are cosmetic. Perhaps the only thing that really matters gameplay wise are the choice of powers you equip.

Well, while soloing, maintaining health and energy are priorities. I'd recommend getting fashion sense, and maybe a couple other healing/regen powers if you really need the health/energy badly. Other than that, just use skills you like to use.

^ I have the same problem as you i tried clearing cache then refresh the page and login again still the same i also tried creating a new char on the same account to try and the problem is still there.
