Dual Thrusters -> Charged Robots (8/17/2013 13:50:07)

Well since robots are now high priced, and are equipped with 2 cores, why not make charged robots for players to try?

So these guys will cost maybe around 4k credits, because charged actives cost 1,500 each plus you are paying extra for the body.

The Normal Attack has 25 charges. The special attack also has 25 charges.

Aren't charges used for cores like meteor shower or the titan core, not items?

Exploding Penguin -> RE: Charged Robots (8/17/2013 15:28:54)

Supported because some people spend a lot on bad bots like assault bot when they could have spent it on something like IA. This lets people test bots before they buy 'em.

@therandomguy

Robots tecnically have 2 active cores.

If that's so, then I can say strike is a core, basic sidearm and aux attacks are cores, etc...

Mother1 -> RE: Charged Robots (8/17/2013 20:07:27)

@ exploding penguin

he is right though. Also Strike, sidearm and aux are also cores here is a piece of the old design notes to prove this.

quote:

When Omega launches, every single action you can issue in battle, including Strike, gun, bazooka, all of your skills, all of your item special abilities, and well, everything is now handled by a 100% new "core-based" battle engine. Sound fancy? That's partly because it is. If you haven't heard, the 9500-lines-of-code-long battle engine that is the heart of EpicDuel has been rewritten for this release.
