I knew a guy who has been hacked and his level 28 char now he can't earn credits from NPC fight with basic weapon and armor (not upgraded at all)
Could maybe do it basic weapon and armor to make an free upgrade for these situations, he don't know what to do else than quit ED [:-]

making a new character , 28 ain't that much he can get back in 2 weeks to a month.

Get him to buy varium, start a new character, or just take the losses.

The basic weapon is already free and even if hacked the basic armor can't be sold so no matter what you will have these items. As for making upgrades not supported.

There are the following options already available

1 Get varium
2 As someone for a build for his level to npc grind then use said build to beat of a NPC (one that has item drops items such as bacon, yeti's pelts or diamonds
3 do the missions that don't require battle but award's credits if he already didn't do them
4 battle in 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 and gather up the credits they get from battles.

its his own fault for getting himself scammed, there's no-one else to blame.

plus you could get basic weapons for free from junker and your basic armor cannot be sold

@below ha ha thanks odsey for the correction, but most treat hacked and scammed as the same thing since it is someone going inside your account and changing your pass.

@Trizz its his own fault for getting himself hacked Scammed, there's no-one else to blame.

There, fixed.

Anyway, most hacks are scams because most people promise free varium etc. You could buy the easy way out(Varium) or npcing which give you a decent credit even though it has a limit.
