Chosen 0ne -> The Good Things (8/25/2013 15:56:37)

A lot of you right now (Including me at times) have been in some sort of stage of sadness when it comes to epic duel in its current state. But I think we should look back on good things that have happened. Looking back, Omega isn't as bad as most of you make it out to be.

MY favorite part of Omega so far was the Easter Egg hunt. That was one of the funnest events epic duel has had. (I dont think i did the spores one, how was it?)

Some of you may say, but Chosen! You were disabled during the easter egg hunt, to which I say yes, but please note: http://epicduel.artix.com/charpage.asp?id=Chosen0ne

Yes, that's one of my alts.

Please discuss what made certain events better than others.

The best thing in Omega is maybe the change of the mission management.
The dread war progress screen is also nice.

xzkamityx -> RE: The Good Things (8/25/2013 17:10:29)

My favorite and maybe one of the most useful update was the new map. No more having to run to the bazaar

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: The Good Things (8/25/2013 17:25:38)

Most of the people of ED claim Beta was there favorite part when in which A) They arent even from Beta B) They were extremely inactive C) They say it to be a "cool kid".

By far my favorite part was when they came out with juggernaut. Yes call me crazy.

Mother1 -> RE: The Good Things (8/25/2013 17:32:44)

Three words.

GYT

Golden Yeti Tournament

Bionic Bear -> RE: The Good Things (8/25/2013 17:56:47)

Probably the infernal war is my favorite part of epicduel so far.

Jekyll -> RE: The Good Things (8/25/2013 18:29:20)

Agreed. The Infernal War was the closest thing we had to an actual, purposeful war. How are the devs going to decide who wins this Dread War? No records or statistics have been revealed to the players.

Predator9657 -> RE: The Good Things (8/25/2013 19:37:14)

^ That doesn't mean they don't have any records/statistics.

Dual Thrusters -> RE: The Good Things (8/25/2013 23:38:47)

The Infernal War wasn't in Omega [8|]

Anyway, my favorite part was the Arborgeddon. I liked it because not only was it like the egg hunt, but you also had to release purified spores to get closer to victory. Plus, there was a strong boss in the end!

Midnightsoul -> RE: The Good Things (8/26/2013 1:14:36)

I actually like the way the Dread War was done. It's more realistic and I remember suggesting something like it.

CN2025 -> RE: The Good Things (8/26/2013 3:41:05)

daily missions coming !!! its something that epicduel has lacked for a while now but now that they told us that they are making some im super exited !

EDIT: oh and since the mission overhaul update its been getting the 500 mark on the epic server which is very rare since omega :D

Jekyll -> RE: The Good Things (8/26/2013 4:06:32)

@Predator

I don't see any point in them not revealing any data. Either way, players have little idea about the progression of the war, and undeniably that is an element that is sorely missing.

*On-topic*
In my opinion, most of the events in Omega are vaguely similar in one way or another. The Arborgeddon Saga was just a duplicate of the Easter Egg Hunt, so frankly, past events are more interesting to reminisice over.

kosmo -> RE: The Good Things (8/26/2013 7:06:55)

as a non var i loved the npc win remove and the gap remove, now im able to get in lb whit a +85 ratio, and that is something i never been able to do since alpha.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: The Good Things (8/26/2013 16:42:54)

My favorite thing in Omega is probably the mission overhaul, which while I'm not a mission fanatic I believe it was extremely worthwhile and will help development progress much more quickly.
