i was once paired up with a tlm on my merc. he buffed his str. then i told him i would use mine on him for a double str buff. but it wouldnt let me! they are different abilities so i think they should stack. would it be op? im not sure. it might.

They are the same abilities, just different effect. These shouldn't and will not stack together to prevent abuse.

Not supported.

The main reason they made it so they won't stack is because of the abuse that can happen. Support merc is a good example. At max I see some merc's gain 70+ strength. So have a merc or tactical merc have over 100+ strength plus the mini blood lust effect from it? Not something I am looking forward to.

Support Merc uses field commander on a tank merc. Tank merc uses blood commander. >.<

Stacking field commander to blood commander would only make BC even stronger than it already is, and I'd have to say BC is a pretty dang good buff given the reduced HP in Omega.
