Chosen 0ne -> Epic Duel Theories (8/26/2013 19:44:54)

I saw this in another game forum here. I figured Epic Duel would need one.

The thread works like this, You think of something for anything. And it can be anything, like what does Slayer do in his free time. What's Marauder Hulks favorite TV show. How was the electro hazard built? Stuff like that.

Anyway, those of you that play other AE games will know about this one.

It is in my theory that Balius is Nightbane from adventure quest.

Why would I think this? I'll tell you why!

Epic Duel goes super early in Lore's timeline to make this work. Balius took over this world with Legion forces and made a tyrannic government until the citizens had enough. What would happen is the Exiles took over and overthrew Balius, forcing him to flee.

Balius fled to a distant planet and landed in the town of Battle On.

You can see that Nightbanes name is actually Balius here: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=17474352

Anyways, Balius, still hungry for power, went to darkovia to learn the dark arts. It was there he met up with Wolfwing and become one of his best students, mastering skills very quickly.

Since balius (Nightbane) was hungry for power and wanted more, he drank the blood of 1000 dragons to become the most powerful monster in darkovia. He would be a Draco Werepyre!.

I have more to this theory and it's interesting if any of you wish to hear it. But it's the type of thing that is only interesitng if you know the dracopyre legacy in Adventure Quest classic.

What are some of your theories!?

Well, I've always been suspicious of this, but I'm pretty sure Titan (in real life) eats a bacon cheeseburger at least 75% of the time once or more per day.

Another theory is that Oz got plastic surgery on his face, and this is partially the reason he keeps commenting on yours

Also, another theory is that everyone is truly a BH because you gain money whenever you win; either that or you are playing as someone playing in a video game/computer game where you cannot die and gain money from dying.

GearzHeadz -> RE: Epic Duel Theories (8/27/2013 0:20:32)

Yeah... There is already an entire timeline on Nightbane, his entire life on Lore pretty much.

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: Epic Duel Theories (8/27/2013 2:04:44)

Titan likes In N Outs Burgers.. Animal style. (Caramelized onions)
Nightwraith is an avid book reader.
Rabble would be the hobo on the road asking for change lmao x) (just based on how the character looks)
Cinderella would be the tree hugger friend who wants to conserve the world.
Naomi is the annoying lady at the subway station who takes up 4 chairs.

I honestly think the only reasonable theory to discuss is how Charfade got from Mechquest to Epicduel. The others are stories that are made up...but I guess that's the point of this thread.

Ok, so I'll let someone write about Charfade while I make my own.

How new Delta V fighters appear (Basically just a filler explanation for people who newly joined ED and an explanation how their character came to exist):

Long ago...
A great and powerful priest lived on Delta V. After the apocalypse, he knew that if he did not take action, civilization would end with a huge ruckus. The population was drastically decreasing despite the fact the population was already low. He quickly tried to come up with a solution. He decided to create artificial humans out of matter itself. To make sure they became flesh and bones like a real human, he put his life force into three structures and wait for them to take shape into humans. However, his life force had so much power, that he had to split them up into three. One of the life force energies had a color of green which gave the first a moderate bodyweight with quick and flexible movements.. The second one was blue, which had a lightweight build that looked frail (not actually frail) and had great mindpower. The third life force energy was red which gave the third a heavy, muscular build that seemed nearly impervious to anything. The only energy that priest kept in him was the darkness and the light energy (since every person has their good and bad side), but some of the darkness and light slipped out without the priest noticing. The darkness and the light slipped into two already living kids completely separate from each other which gradually caused the Legion and Exile as the kids grew into leaders, but no one knows which is which.

As time went by, the three prototypes of the priest discovered new powers. The green also discovered that it has a special blood type that can live off of anyone's blood without inheriting diseases, super speed, excellent eyesight, and enhanced reflexes. It also proved to be adaptive and able to create tools efficiently out of scratch. The blue one had great abilities manipulated from its own mind, the power to control and create magnetic forces which causes lightning. It also created the ability to control plasma, absorbed a partial amount of energy received from an attack, and possessed enhanced control of any of its projectile weapons as long the weapon stays in its touch. The third had super strength, super endurance, and had ocassional surges of extreme power. The three went off with each other, had descendants and students, then they passed away. The ones part of the green one became known as Bounty Hunters, blue for Tech Mage, and red for Mercenary. Eventually, there started being mixes.

Legend says the reincarnated versions of the three prototypes made from the priest can bring peace to Delta V...but it's just a legend...who know's if it's real? Are you one of the reincarnations?

GearzHeadz -> RE: Epic Duel Theories (8/28/2013 20:15:39)

^Heh. That was a bit of an interesting read. You make that up yourself?
The only theory I'd have to put here is that Oz is the Exile leader that you can speak to in old fortune city.

Midnightsoul -> RE: Epic Duel Theories (8/29/2013 2:30:23)

^Haha, yeah, I just made it up. xD
I mean that's kind of the point of this thread. :P

ReinVI -> RE: Epic Duel Theories (8/29/2013 4:30:53)

I think all those cannons in the desert are actually to fight off giant wurms like you would find in something like Dune ( let's see how many people don't have to look that up :P )

XapApp -> RE: Epic Duel Theories (9/1/2013 22:35:54)

@Chosen 0ne
EpicDuel's one is actually called Baelius, not Balius. Still, nice theory. :)

Chosen 0ne -> RE: Epic Duel Theories (9/2/2013 14:39:02)

Thanks for ruining my dreams XapApp.[:D]
