I remember a few wars back, the faction home quarters had turrets to be able to fire from, I think this should be implemented again. To make the turrets in the base make sense range-wise, you should also be able to choose a location for your factions base, (wastelands, fortune city, central station, etc) that way the turrets would be able to reach destinations, and be limited to a single area. New locations cost credits or varium? I think this should be implemented again, but allowing the turrets to be a once a day use. I also feel that faction bases should be able to be decorated like houses are, they just feel so empty. Maybe adding some furniture here, maybe a vendbot... Just something to make the place a little more lively.

I would like to see turrets in bases. But since you don't have to worry about the opposite alignment capturing it, it should take out significantly less influence than war-objective turrets (like maybe 2-5).

I would also support having the option to decorate your faction. Like you said everything feels so empty. But maybe it should be Varium only since it's for looks.

So something like turn faction HQs into houses?

Supported because why not? Every faction HQ shouldn't look the same.

@Dual Thrusters, Like I said with the turret deal, maybe a way to balance it is to make them be able to be fired once a day only, to prevent them from being abused.
