so are we gonna be able to upgrade our wep modifres aswell?
i have reached lvl 35 ages before omega so i dont know how the max wep modifres scales when u lvl up.

LOL I thought there wasn't going to be a level cap release until balance was brought under control. Guess the staff wants to give the masses something to do for a while. Oh well time to battle and level up when the time comes.

kosmo, the weapon upgrades will go indefinitely unless they have made a final cap for ED (say Lvl 100 forever), just like AQ caps at Lvl 150 instead. For now, weapons will upgrade indefinitely so yes, you will be able to upgrade your weapons at Lvl 36!

Mother1, I don't think there's many balance issues by adding one more level. +1 skill point and +4 stat points. It's an incentive to play and balance will get shifted upside down with the passives change, so there's nothing to lose but we can gain a lot instead. There's an incentive to play now.

Formulae wasn't released to the public. So we don't know how much we will get from upgrading items from Lvl 35 to Lvl 36.

Primary weapons will definitely get +1 damage, and so will the Guns. Aux will likely get just +1 Stat, as well as Armors. There will probably be more to weapons (+1 Stat) but I'm not sure how it scales. *I'm just looking at the existing numbers located here and guessing*

Wow, I've been playing for a year now and I still need around 100 more fights to get to level 35.

To be honest I find zero relevance in balance being messed up and level increasing. Even if the cap was increased by 5 levels, it would not affect balance in a predictable way. It could either create more imbalances, change nothing, or make the underpowered stronger.

They need to slightly adjust armor points. We need to have a total of 12 armor points at level 35 and now 13 points at level 36.This would mean modifying how many points every armor will be upgraded as the player levels up.

i dont think thats what she's talking about.

this sounds more like a way to get people to play through agonizing and painful balance issues.

but i thought the war was suppose to be "incentive to play"?

I wonder how many people will actually try and get to level 36. My guess is somewhere around 20-30. It's really just not worth it anymore.

given the amount of battles it will take (1707-2925) i am guessing that only the hardcore ones will bother.

i certainly wont be trying anytime soon since its forced pvp.

I think the devs are choosing to do this due to the success it had in the last war.

And it would work but he problem is this doesn't feel like a war. This feels like a chore that never ends. When creating wars for games there needs to be a goal that gets met. Once the goal is met the war ends. In the infernal war the goal was to burst through the gate.

This has no goal and theres no way to tell when it will be over. I don't even know what the dread plains has to do with this war since its happening in every single region.

Factions arent getting credit either, it only shows the design on the flag, not their name.

At first they showed the names of the factions that had the flag captured. However after an update they removed it. Why I don't know but it shouldn't have been removed.

2 years? The last level cap change was only a little over a year ago in the infernal war.

Yeah you hit my thoughts right on the head with your comment. But I will ask again where is the war? This just feels like everyday play with a buff the flag captures and some cheevos that aren't worth the work it is to get them. I mean seriously 20K influence for an 800 rating cheevo? Mostly everyone I spoke with told me they aren't going past level 5 with that one.

idk, but TBH, I dont like how they handled the flag situation.

there is a Rank cheevo for the flag capturing but it never rewarded the players who captured flags before this system was put in place.

some flags still had tokens on them before the system was changed, and those players weren't rewarded.

My faction was close to get this achievement (after about a year of very slow token collection)
but then all donated tokens just got removed by the staff. Reminds me to the enhancement
removal where many hours of spent and invested playtime just disappeared.

The 'rewards' for gaining influence are incredibly miserable. I get more rating points buying a TLaPD cheevo than slowly earning 20,000 influence (4,000 wins in 1v1). I feel that the rating points for every achievement tier should be doubled at the minimum.

hope thins brings back morep layers and gives them reasons to play. Was bad to see 400 players server every time I logg in.

about time. Though this doesn't change a thing that "balance" has been and will always be an issue. This might bring some players back into doing PVP but things like overwhelming luck factor and lack of PVP rewards will getting in the way. Might as well reach 36 in a month. :-)
