1vs1 needs a quick update.
If not update quickly the players play with class.
Both mages to kill all possible 1vs1. it is not fun to play, for example MERC. It disappears even if it is one of the strongest weapons in the game, and cores. Not to mention the other categories. I believe that the 1vs1 should update really fast. Or make a big update in months. The game is missing the fun is seeing zombie. BM or TM a zombie. Both ruining the game quite a lot of fun.

(build a copy of the problem), this is a good resolved by giving even willing to build alternatives. I mean this. When you make your character so there could be a shortcut to select a few options. Str, Dex, and the tech sup. For each of these could be produced even though the 1-3.
This does not remove their own editing at all, but would change the conditions playing less experienced players.

Tell's up to you how you change the game. I feeling this today[:(]

Funny how these only come up in Omega, and no one bothered with massacre BHs with energy boosters back in Delta.

Merc is already a pathetic class in 1v1 that can't hold up well against debuffs, so you shouldn't expect any success from it in 1v1. It excels at 2v2 though.

Unfortunately, people are so blind to the concept of "fun" and only to the concept of "winning" that they don't realize that they're destroying ED. Only the people who think that they can ONLY have fun from winning (sorry for being derogatory, but there's probably something wrong with your thought process if you think that way) are really messing up the game and making it boring. I'm currently running a dex BM caster with only a low amount of skill points (7 overload and 4 plasma rain) in its caster skills, and I can tell that people honestly have a lot more fun battling against me than against repetitive builds. Too bad people are too obsessed with winning...

The assault bot holds very weak potential even when used on a double-debuffed character. It holds weak damage and 65% is just barely over half of negating a debuff's effect. If I was debuffed by a support abuse or tech abuse BH, TM, or CH, I would still only recover maybe a little over 25 tech/dex back from using the assault bot, while placing the bot into cooldown so if I'm using a focus build I can't attack with it until another long while, in which case I'd probably just get debuffed again. Technician at level 1 while normally recover around 25-30 tech, costs a meager 9 energy, and lasts an extra turn compared to the assault bot's effects not to mention it leaves the bot open for its other attacks.

Right now I honestly can't find a single occasion where the assault bots would be better than some other easily obtainable bots.

@ Exploding

In the arms of the right build it is a life saver. Especially extremely tanky builds. Remember fighting this super tanky merc who had 42-46 resist, and I had an extreme hard time against him since I had no form of poison. When I debuffed him he used the assault bot, and which made it extremely hard for me to get any damage in. my debuff did 34, and once it was cleansed it was down to 12 because of this.

I won't go into why they did made it only do 65% once again because we already know this, but in all honestly on that subject debuffs and buffs need looking at at. A slight nerf to these debuffs will in turn buff this bot indirectly.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: 1vs1 Balance and copybuilds (Hi,im not zombie ^^) (9/12/2013 18:27:31)

@Mother1: IF he did have that much resistance, then the assault bot would have minimal effects on his total resistance. Because technology has diminishing return, the higher his resistance is the less a debuff while have an effect on it. Therefore, if he has, for example, 30 base minimum resistance with +5 hybrid armor and +5-6 from his equipped armor, a -34 debuff will at best do around 7 or so resistance which will only be reduced to -3 or -4 from the assault bot. Spending an entire turn to take a high tech build's bot attack so that you can remove around 4 resistance for 3 turns doesn't seem statistically beneficial to me. Tech abuse like that with IA or a poison bot would definitely prove more effective. It's not that the bot itself doesn't have, per say, a use, it's just that pretty much every other bot in-game outranks it with all possible successful builds.

assault botaint rubbish... ive seen str tank tact merc use it perfectly well. if they get intimidated or debuffed, the y use it. now u cant hurt them. to add to that they have a passive armour. then they poison you with a max level poison grenade. then just gun and wait for the poiaon to get you. then rage another poison/meteors.

Individually speaking, the assault bot by itself isn't bad. But, as I said in the quote, there are other bots that outrank it. Rebuffing intimidate with the assault bot is almost never worth it because you're only giving yourself a few damage or less back per turn from strength-based attacks, meaning it doesn't have any effect if you just ignore intimidate and focus on your aux attack, skills, and your bot for the short 3 turns it lasts. As for debuffs, blood shield does much better for TLM as it lasts longer and barely costs any health to use. In almost any situation a level 1 blood shield will equal or surpass the resistance brought back from an assault bot. And the build you're describing is a 1/50 or even less of a chance of showing up. If one were to consider every possible successful build for every class and every bot combination, I'm pretty sure assault bot would be ranked as the least popular.

ED Divine Darkness -> RE: 1vs1 Balance and copybuilds (Hi,im not zombie ^^) (9/18/2013 14:54:13)

nope. str hp poison no suuport tlm is perhaps the only good assault bot build tho. and nothing is better on that build, cos that build doesnt use focus. assault bot is for all dem non focus tanks out there [:D]
