I am trying to post a picture on my guild page but clearly I am doing something wrong. When I press the image button: e.g. [image][/image]
What do I put in between them?

You put the link of the uploaded image between them.

It's the "Direct Link" that you need to copy and paste between the image tags. Do not copy the "Embed URL" or any other URL from that list.

can u give me an example of a direct link?
what is the difference and how do you obtain the direct link of a picture.

You have to upload the picture to a web-based site like photobucket, tinypic, etc. Only then can you post a picture. Once you do that, the website will tell you what the direct link to your picture is. Then, copy that, paste it in the post with 
[image][/image]
around it.


like:

Unfortunately, if the picture is not within the rules, if it is too large in filesize or dimension, you are not allowed to post it. What you have to do is this instead:
