Hiya DragonFablers!

You wanted more various threads of discussion about Classes and we listened! This week and every week following, we will be introducing a thread for every class in DragonFable.

This thread: All things Togslayer Armor.
Now for the rules of this thread:

  • All =AE= Comprehensive Forum Rules apply.
  • The "All Classes" thread will remain pinned to the top of the forum until all the current class threads are released.
  • There will be a Class Directory stickied to the top of the forum once a few class threads are active for quick locating.
  • On suggestions: The DragonFable staff offer specialized suggestion threads from time to time and you may post your suggestions when those events occur.
  • Please keep discussions to the Togslayer armor.
  • Most important: Have fun!

    I have to admit, Togslayer is a well-rounded offensive class. I would, however, think that the current Mana costs is too little for a handful of its skills, and the damage it packs upon a single target.

    This may be a good armor for non-DA players to use to its highest potential.

    assa49 -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (9/30/2013 3:02:00)

    It's easily one of the best classes for the non-DA players. I think it's a good thing that it has no multi attack, because it would make it to OP.

    I do think it should be more accesable though, I think most people dont want to timetravel everytome to get the.armor

    Chaosweaver Amon -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (9/30/2013 10:50:05)

    I personally haven't unlocked this yet, due to laziness, but after looking at it on the Encyclopedia...HOLY COW! That's pretty impressive. Especially that "Fire Tog" skill...that's more damage than Soulweaver's "Soul Synch" iirc.

    Kazuki_Kitsuki -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (9/30/2013 12:12:07)

    Like Chaosweave Amon, I don't have this class. But I have seen some of the skills and I must say it is rather impressive.

    @assa49: If you mean waiting for the seasonal event, it IS an armor that was released during an event, so you can only get it at said event. If you got the armor closet, then you've got access to it as long as you unlocked it. If you have the orb of saving and save your equips while wearing the armor, it should save it too.

    Cedrei -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (9/30/2013 13:57:00)

    Assa means that once you unlocked it, you can get it from book 1/2 Rolith.

    knrs eqnrs bzud

    assa49 -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (9/30/2013 17:48:12)

    Kazuki: What Zekrom said, because even with time-travel, you wouldn't be able to unlock it (time-travel isnt allowed for events)

    Zhoxn -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (9/30/2013 17:58:31)

    Togslayer is best tog-based armor of this game! (the only one too :P)

    afb728 -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (9/30/2013 20:07:34)

    I wish it would have a multi skill, because it is rather tedious to kill mobs one at a time. I am also not fond of the Fire-Locked skill, but the cheaper Final Blow more than makes up for it. I have saved it as my default class because of its efficiency. Over all, great class, although I think the skills are kind of lonely.

    imran102 -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (10/1/2013 7:57:53)

    Reading this thread made me go put Togslayer back on for the first time since Frostval 2011. testing it out for the first in a long time, just one thing to say....

    ....It's probably a good thing FireTog is element fixed. If not, it'll be way too OPed.

    Warmonger DragonJax -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (10/1/2013 8:07:37)

    Nice class for one on one but horrible for multi battles ! The only weapon which I think suits this class is the Rolith's Hammer of protection and recently(yesterday) I have started using different classes and I played for less that a minute in that class but as usual it is awesome ! But I don't think we should take this class way to seriously because I heard this is a joke class !

    DarkLore -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (10/1/2013 12:41:29)

    Joke class or not, It could use a full set of skills. It has much potential.

    Galez -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (10/2/2013 3:03:34)

    @^ what do you want more from this class? this class already has a powerful final attack that allow you to hit 600+ damage even though the enemy has 25 res to fire (yes it happen to me). a great stun/blind and most of the skill deal 120% damage.

    The Jop -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (10/2/2013 9:10:08)

    ^
    A heal and multi-hit attack. The blind is also DA-only, so a weaker one for non-DLs would be nice.

    bokterier -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (10/2/2013 9:28:50)

    Haven't got it yet, but I will try this christmas.

    Me too bro. For god's sake, using this with Aegis makes me a complete slaughter house. Perhaps I should don this as my main armour so I can help further my plans.

    Eris Blackwood -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (1/30/2016 20:23:34)

    It's weird that this class isn't used more (when I look at people's saved pages, no one i've seen has it). I love it personally. have it saved and everything. really useful for sweeping war waves.

    Silver Sky Magician -> RE: =DF= Togslayer Armor Discussion Thread (1/30/2016 21:16:48)

    My go-to class as a non-DA player. It's pretty awesome - managed to wreck Razen al Ghul with this one. If a monster's still going strong after Final and FireTog e.g. Zorbak's gauntlet in the latest Frostval quest, you might be in trouble and should use a tankier class like Paladin instead. Or it might simply be a dreary battle, depends.

    Mana costs are steep but justifiable. I think Togslayer could use a buff despite its powerful nukes, however, because it's evidently lagging behind the likes of Paladin and Necromancer. A multi for the non-DA folks would be nice, but more skills for the DA players are necessary to make it on par with updated tier 2 classes.
