The levels of Duelists in 2v2 battles are quite often mismatched...like 35/35 vs. 35/29. But there's still balance because sometimes the 29 is on my team, sometimes he's on the enemy side.
In my last days before I finally lost interest in the game, I noticed there was something driving me away from Epic Duel. Something that was making me so mad, I just couldn't play any more.
What I noticed was that the low level players in 2v2 were blocking and deflecting way more than they should. Even when they were smoked or malfed they still blocked and deflected half my attacks. If a low level player is smoked and attacked by a high level player, they shouldn't block just because developers think that's how to balance the game. That smoked player should get a bunch of damage taken off, that's how it supposed to work. It will balance out because now the luck might be in his favor and he'll battle a lower level player in his next fight. But to make blocks and deflections JUST BECAUSE a player is a lower level is idiotic. Whoever's idea it was to implement this, for the record it's completely stupid and made me quit.
I played Epic Duel for years without missing a day. I was completely addicted and probably would still be if the game did what it's supposed to. But I haven't logged on for days and don't miss it so I know I'm done here. It's been a pleasure dueling with everyone, Take Care! [;)]
