so, we all know, that support is in charge of who goes first, however, there are some problems with this when you arent max level (or near max level) i think the rate at which support increases who goes first should be scaled to the following: when facing someone 5 levels higher, regardless of your support and theirs, there should be a 75-25 chance AT MOST in favour of higher level to go first from what ive been informed of, it currently works at an exponential rate between levels, and the lower your level is, the greater your chance is for going first, however from first hand experience, as both the higher and lower level, it is INCREDIBLY difficult to win a battle against someone 3, 4 or 5 levels higher. you know what makes this even more difficult? going second... which, yes, it happens fairly often, even with 50 support at level 23. i find, on average, level 35-36 have maybe 52-58 support. this is more than ten level ahead, meaning you have over 50+ stat points to disperse into this potential stat. when youre at a lower level, and you find a match against someone even remotely good with a support build: you lose. its not a maybe, its a yes. my proof? i had a level 23 merc with a support with a 13-1 (rounded up, yes) 1v1 win/loss ratio. sorry, folks, but i have no pics (i never thought they would come in handy), so you can choose to take my word for it or not. i really could care less. thats my current evidence. and so that happened because 95% of the time, i woul go first, have a relatively simple [minor] jugg build with regen core (no one else my level had it) ice shards, huge bunker, and huge artillery. so back on track to my issue with how going first is scaled: it is exponential in the sense, that if you have a % already to go first greater than 50, then that % is multiplied. from what i have heard you get 5% per level difference, if you are lower. however, 1 support point (if i remember correctly) gives them 1 percent back. when facing a support build, unless you are a support build, you are going second. and to make things fair in a situation between a 30-35, or 23-28, youre never going to win if youve got that big of a set back. what my choice of scaling would be, is that by level, you bar in which range %, the higher level may go first.see following: this is assuming exactly even support points level 30-30............................50%/50% level 29-30............................52-100%/48-0% level 28-30............................58-100%/42-0% level 27-30............................66-100%/34-0% level 26-30............................71-100%/29-0% level 25-30............................75-100%/25-0% and you cannot leave these parameters: if you are facing someone 5 levels lower, then you should never, under any circumstances have more than a 25% chance to go first. regardless of how high you pump your support. support already increase enough things in each class, it could use this type of nerf IMO, and if you disagree i seriously need to know why. by a 5 level difference, there is really no amount of luck that can save a lower level from losing, if they go second. this would also decrease some of the compl;aints we get from level 30-31's about how theyre win/loss dropped cause of level difference. they just get a buff in their favor, but still have to deal with the level gap as we all did.
