Tri Phoenix -> Stat Cores (10/26/2013 2:34:30)

i was thinking to release the unlimited version of those stat cores

CN2025 -> RE: Stat Cores (10/26/2013 2:45:11)

same but they should be 1 stat weaker cause unlimidted

Cyber Dream -> RE: Stat Cores (10/26/2013 4:12:30)

I was just about to suggest this. They really come in handy. But i disagree with you CN2025, They aren't oped and they are up.

CN2025 -> RE: Stat Cores (10/26/2013 4:38:12)

they r neither OP or UP but seeing how charges run out they should have a little extra edge like the titan cores that do 114% unblockable dmg but they can only be used 25 times so it has a 4% edge over meteors

Tri Phoenix -> RE: Stat Cores (10/26/2013 6:03:24)

if these cores are unlimited think of the builds people will make

Ranloth -> RE: Stat Cores (10/26/2013 6:15:23)

CN2025's reasoning is right - charged cores are meant to be a little bit stronger than unlimited, and we can see by the example he's provided. +5 stat would be still pretty nifty, and I'm all for it. We're talking about 6 new cores lately - even if basic - they can give us a little bit of variety at last.

It couldn't be any different than it is now

Predator9657 -> RE: Stat Cores (10/26/2013 9:03:38)

Unlimited versions of these cores would be great.

However, reducing the stat bonus from the unlimited versions would not be a good idea since if they gave +5, while the charges gave +6, it would be P2W; 4 extra stats if you're willing to pay the varium upkeep.

But the Titan cores are seasonal rare, and Musk's (charged) cores don't have a rarity tag on them. Moreover, excluding the Titan cores, all the other charged cores have the same power as their permanent counterpart.

Ranloth -> RE: Stat Cores (10/26/2013 9:15:48)

Chargeable cores have Credit price. Whether you can afford it or not, it's not a problem with balance but your money management. Should we nerf Titan's cores too - because they need Varium to be used efficiently? Varium and Credits are both limited.

You can't give one set of charged cores an advantage and not give any to the other. Charged > unlimited, in terms of power.

I guess this was done so that players could first test the complete active core theme, then decide which would be the "best" permanent active according to their playing style.
