IIRC I joined this forum YEARS ago. I removed some information that may be sensitive. Also, I'm not sure what "Number" means, is it the activation ID? It's not an actual number either. Does this mean someone tried to change my password or something?

Skurge -> RE: Strange email (10/26/2013 16:01:28)

That's the E-Mail you get before you sign up, so it's most likely just a bug (however I've never seen it before).

Just ignore it as you've already confirmed your account.

Melissa4Bella -> RE: Strange email (10/26/2013 16:19:28)

It could very well be an email hiccup, so to speak. We'll be looking into this and forwarding it to the people who can double-check such things.

In the meantime, Skurge gave good advice: Ignore it for now.

Captain Rhubarb -> RE: Strange email (10/28/2013 11:45:15)

That looks like a legit email message coming from the Forum.

The only reason that message would be sent for an existing Forum account, would be if you (or someone accessing your Forum account) changed your Forum email address.

Maybe they changed it, and then changed it back?

You may want to change your Forum password.

Cylia -> RE: Strange email (10/29/2013 15:23:53)

I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. I have always been registered for the forum under my current e-mail address, but for some odd reason I was sent another "Thank you for joining the forum!" e-mail. I just disregarded it as an error on the forum's part and continued using the forum as I always have been.
