NO! NO! NO. The tradition started within America first then it developed into europe afterwards. I remember in stratford (UK) about 10 years ago, no one celebrated haloween but since there are alot of more people coming into the country in the UK from the US; it started as a tradition for us. Back when I was in school; we didn't use to have one week holidays off from school but now when I went to college we do have one week holiday. And plus I know I'm sure it developed in the US first because that came up in my exams for humanities about the traditions of haloween and I got a* (full marks) so I'm sure I am correct even though I cannot look at my paper ;'(.
