Silver -> Forum CSS (11/4/2013 1:25:02)

Hello guys, I have a suggestion for the forum. I've been currently making CSS designs for sites, and I've decided that maybe I should make a css design for the forums. What I'm suggesting is a drop down list sorta thing filled with all the contributed css designs, to be implemented to choose a css design skin we want to use for ourselves.

How is the idea?

It is currently possible to change it, if you go to profile and scroll down quite a bit. Re-Read your post, you know this :)

Also, here is what CR said.

Our forum doesn't actually use any fancy code for the color skins.
It just uses these stylesheets:

http://forums2.battleon.com/f/blue.css
http://forums2.battleon.com/f/dark.css

You're all welcome to download these files, and experiment.
There's usually a browser setting where you can override style settings using a local CSS file to test with the live forum web site.

Let me know via PM if you come up with anything.
It was tricky to make sure that the buttons looked good though with different background colors.

I quite like your idea of all of the contributed CSS going somewhere... G'luck!!!

If you go to Profile -> Additional Info -> Forum Color Style you can see that the forums do have a list of all current styles.
Half of those styles were added in the last year, and were made by AK. As The Captain said above, just drop him a PM when you do make a style, and he'll make sure it will be added to the list.
