So pretty much tec mages have assim+charge and thats pretty much inf energy and on a caster which can be pretty broken with heal loops and ultimates. BM's new leech ability is like a frost shards on roids, it cost nothing to use and drains around 7 and heals 15 en per turn. If you couple the leech ability with frost shards thats a 14 en loss to 15 en gain per turn. Bh is just...wow I can't even put into words how much smoke with a passive bloodlust was all that was going for them after the core update. Tlm's only viable build atm is a support build. they have no more tanking options since min armor went active. Ch pretty much got shafted with the 2nd worst energy recovery class slightly behind bh coupled with no buffs since they have taken away plasma armor and shadow arts and made them pretty useless with its stupidly high en cost. Merc got shafted with his armor going active in conjoint with the fact that tm and bm pretty much lol at his static smash now.

My only suggestions is to revert this mess entirely or bring the armor passives and shadow arts back and revamp bhers and Chers skill trees.

I like the new shadow arts, it's pretty good now, before it was just annoying, stun and high dex equals a stun and block party

Some of the problems I foresee as of now.
Plasma armor and it's cousins are pretty useless atm. (ShadowArts is fine)

Energy pack is unanswered on Tech Mage and tech mage alone, that coupled with assimilation is just unbelievable.

First turn is still in issue and the big one atm.

Future speculation says their might be some problems with support.

Its decent at best, The fact that it cost 29 en is pretty annoying tho since the 2 classes that use it have the worst energy recovery in the game, You might aswell use a medic over shadow arts.

The staff isn't going to change an entire update that took months to work and test just because a few people don't like it. besides the balance updates are back and now if they find problems with skills they will rework them to make them more balanced.

In all honestly though defensive builds got a huge nerf especially with the new active armors being able to be shifted by buffs and debuffs. If anything they need to be unaffected by these so the numbers given are 100% solid.

More then a few people don't like this update. in fact, all the people i discussed about this update in game find it bad. The only people that like this update are tec mages

@Hellion Storm, That's just a poor assumption :P I play as Bounty Hunter and I like this update a lot.

Definitely more work to do here, agreed. Fortunately now all of these skills have a lot more areas we can touch on for balance compared to before.
