I believe battery pickup is good as it is now, but needs a warm up of 3-4 turns, and 5 turn cooldown.

I don't agree with this. Why because the moment that warm up is added, any energy draining build would just EMP, Static smash Etc, and the mage would be without their battery backup for 2 more turns. Emp builds would be able to use their cooldown time to wait out the warm up, and when the mage uses it he or she is EMP again.

This would destroy caster mage, and make them weak against any energy draining build.

Yeah... I believe this skill needs a change, but this is not the right direction. There is another forum already going on techies atm, head over there if you'd please.

I don't think it needs a warm up, the point is immediate energy as is. Adding a single turn on cooldown I feel is the best way to go.

I agree with Mother 1's comment above.

You other guys just want to see Mages weak again. Only thing I can agree on is deduct some points for example, rather than 49 energy (Battery) regain points at Lvl 36 make it around 35-40. This skill is vital for Mages otherwise how will we stand a chance with the Energy super drainers like the Merc's static smash & Hunters Emp's.

^ That's what I was aiming for with my suggestions. Just reduce the scaling to +2 per skill level, which lowers the amount by -7 Energy at Lvl 10. So I think it'll go down from +49 to +4142, for Lvl 36 players. It's the simplest solution and it'd still be powerful, but not as much.

(49-7 isn't 41, silly me <.<)

Well, maybe another turn of cooldown would also be good. XD They will very likely have Assimilation so it shouldn't be that much of an issue. On average, the amount regained would fall down but it'd still regain the same amount. It's all about harder looping, and this would deal with it perfectly.

Let's remember, skill should still be good and useable, not nerfed into oblivion + TLMs also have it so let's keep that in mind.

lol i dont want to see mages weak, i am one, and use it most. This is just my suggestion, if its not the way to go then its not the way to go.
