darkllord233 -> A bad idea. (11/13/2013 11:25:53)

Hallo everyone,especially Titan,Nightwraith,Charfade and RabbleFroth.

I want to say that ED admins had a bad idea to put energy cost on cores.Everyone quit ED because of that.Please remove energy cost from our cores. ~Vampi

I like that cores cost energy because they had no drawback, no1 had to increase their energy. Cores with energy cost also are more tactical.
What i dont like about cores costing energy is that the change wasn't there from begining so more people got it and when the change came they don't use them now and say that they wasted their money....

Ranloth -> RE: A bad idea. (11/13/2013 11:48:12)

1) Costs were intended from the beginning (of Omega) but they didn't put any up until now.
2) It was suggested by many players too.
3) You don't explain why it's a bad idea - especially in terms of balance.
4) You don't see the benefits, in terms of strategy and abuse, which the change has given.
5) By saying "everyone quit ED because of that" is very vague - who is "everyone"? I see the same amount of players after the cores change and passives too.
6) Why should they remove it?
7) What should it be replaced with to keep strategy and abuse where they should be?

Constructive feedback is necessary. They aren't interested in supposedly everyone quitting because it has nothing to do with the change - it may have an effect on players, but not the balance itself. Biased feedback isn't considered either - think about others, not just yourself.

The cost of cores limit many of the abuses that went on in the game, it was one of their greatest ideas. If you quit because of cores chances are you abused the azreal gear which have been limited on their abuse capabilities. Those players need to stop sheeping and find their own way of fighting.

veneeria -> RE: A bad idea. (11/13/2013 16:31:21)

It is fine.
In fact, they should have been there since the beginning.

What you might be experiencing is a change on habits, since you were being over-facilitated. [&:]

lionblades -> RE: A bad idea. (11/13/2013 18:06:17)

It was a great balance change until passive to actives required even more energy...

Noobatron x3000 -> RE: A bad idea. (11/13/2013 18:29:31)

The balance change wasn't a bad idea

If you gloss over the fact what actually happened to all intents and purposes was hammer the final nail in the tank builds coffin . Tanks are now extremely weak vs all out offence builds .

The only 2 builds really working at the minute are

1) casters
2) all out offence builds

By the next update casters will be nerfed into the ground probably completely un useable as per most balance updates. So all we will have left are all out offence builds.

Other then that this update to bring more diversity ! was great :)

dfo99 -> RE: A bad idea. (11/15/2013 0:27:28)

i stop of play too, but was because without bloodlust, deadly aim, and varium not is possible get a nice win rate with my acc

ValkyrieKnight -> RE: A bad idea. (11/15/2013 10:55:06)

Blood lust is still very usable on BM and BH, you're just not putting in the effort to make it work. Also, deadly aim was overpowered, it gave too much free damage for no cost. This is coming from someone who has mained TM and BM since I began playing this game.

Remorse -> RE: A bad idea. (11/15/2013 11:11:17)

Disagree, weapon cores need to have some sort of downside or their is really no effort at all in thinking what to do in games.
