It probably has potential but is clunky, like a lot of dual element characters. I don't think supercharged will work too well when you're drawing special cards which it has a few of.

Got Resonance 1st try and 3rd encounter at the nightmare dungeon! Now, Void Cyber, he cost 12 SG. I have 5 SG, if I sell my Vergil Of Fiend, I got the 7 SG back which total up to 12 SG and I can be able to purchase it. Should I really risk it? Beside, I will be buying SG package soon however I don't know when although it will definitely be on December because of the 1st upholder.

Red F -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:13:01)

Well, Cyber Void's deck can be a hit or miss. I've been using it for a bit now, so I'll give my two cents.

Its offense is very powerful, but it's wanting for defense, a sort of glass cannon character. I've thoroughly enjoyed using it, though I have one gripe with it.

Its deck has two sacrifice cards, which I question why they're there for four reasons:

1. They aren't boosted by the Supercharged card.

2. You aren't in any shortage of shadow charges as I've been stoppered by the 20 charge limit far more than I'd like during my time with Cyber Void, so there's no point conserving shadow charges.

3. They can't be discarded with the Energize card, so you can't fodder them off for it.

4. When you do use it, it hurts your already laughable survivability.

Regardless, I have no buyer's remorse getting it, but that's just my humble opinion.

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:17:19)

Really? It seems they should count as attack cards since tazer is a special but it counts. It really needs them to work well, otherwise the different elements don't work well together.

Red F -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:23:05)

I'm all for multi-element characters, Revonthurkey has shadow, neutral and water cards and it's a hoot to use. My only complaint is that there's cards in Cyber Void's deck that really don't synergize well with the rest of the deck. The only time I can find myself forgiving sacrifice's presence in the deck is when it's part of a five-hit combo.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:24:28)

Its weird sacrifice is not consider an attack card.

By the way, my question is ignored so I will post it again. I have 5 SG, if I sell my Vergil Of Fiend, I got the 7 SG back which total up to 12 SG and I can be able to purchase it. Should I really risk it?

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:28:46)

I would say not to, it's not great and you can always get Dragon Rider as a variant of Void Knight. I don't have it, so someone else would be better to consult you, but it seems a little bad with its low defense, sacrifices, and taking time to use supercharged. Mana Guardian had the same problem of not having enough defense to let it stall while it charges energy, except Cyber Void sacrifices its health putting it in a worse place.

Edit: Just killed a Black Dragon with my level 6 Res, I can't wait until she's high leveled enough for the DoTs to run through.

Red F -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:29:20)

Cyber Void isn't going anywhere, so you have all the time you need to consider it. It's fun to use, has great animations, but has one glaring (at least to myself) flaw in the deck. Though, don't let that be a dealbreaker for you, I'd take it over either variant of Fiend of Vergil any day.

Edit: Though if you're taking a competitive stance for the performance of characters, you can do much better than Cyber Void.

Edit 2: @Above: You gave Resonance quite the interesting deck; I look forward to seeing what she can do in the -teens levels.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:36:34)

Hmm, Void Cyber or Cyber Void is a variant of Void Champion which I do not have. I find Cyber Void at least still really good in terms of easily able to use combo bonus with surge and supercharged combined. However, I do agree Cyber Void's deck isn't really that good enough since he doesn't have DoT and life drain. If he have at least 1 poison, 1 Mark Of Death and 2 life drain, that would make Cyber Void more sufficient in higher level. It need to replace 2 sacrifice with 1 poison, 1 Mark Of Death, also to replace 1 200 attack card and 1 500 attack card with 2 life drain. Oh well, at least Cyber Void won't be permanent rare. I can get him anytime. :)

legend knight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:41:35)

I am not really satisfy with CV's deck. He is a legendary rank, i can't believe he don't have a single shadow DoT card and life drain. He need a buff.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:45:24)

@legend I think the attack cards and Super Charged make up for it, it's a deck focused on attack cards, why would you want DoTs on it?

Red F -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:46:26)

@Megadragonknight: Hope that answers your question from earlier, even if I did digress a bit.

@legend knight: Word, I really believe that there's wasted potential in its deck.

legend knight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:48:29)

@BJEBLE
Think about it, what will happen when CV is level 20? He maybe really strong, but without some Life Drain and DoT, it will end up being his weakness. Okay, maybe you are right that DoT is not necessary. At least he need 2 Life Drain to survive the battle.

Kiazz -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:56:31)

Anyone know how to edit the wiki? Dread HoundIt's not rare..

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/22/2013 23:58:01)

@Kiazz
Sure. We really need some insider information (testers/staff) to edit the Wiki; I can't tell what's going to be rare or if seasonal characters spawn in the same areas as the previous year.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 0:09:12)

I believe the only seasonal rare character are Abomination and Zombie. Other than that, I believe the other 2013 Halloween character are permanent character in-game. Its strange they are not seasonal rare.

@Jop
Is it possible for anyone to be a wiki editor? If so, I would love to help and be one but not now since I am still having school. Only 2nd week of December, I would love to be one. :)

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 0:19:02)

@Megadragonknight
Of course, we're happy for the help! You can create an account here and start editing right away.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 0:19:34)

@Jop
Understood. Will be glad to help out whenever I am free. :)

TheSage -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 0:33:55)

The idea behind Cyber Void's deck was to make it a Shadow/Energy Hybrid with the option to CC in cards depending on the player's style. Like shields/counter/life drain for defensive players, DoT cards for stallers, or more attack cards for those that want to hit hard and make full use of the combo bonuses.

It has Sacrifice, Energize, and Surge, cards that are not in CC packs and Super Charge to beef up those 3-hit or 4-hit combos depending if you use 3 attack cards or 4.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 0:37:24)

At least CC is there to fix the problem as always. :D

TheSage -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 0:51:49)

Actually the base deck was not intended to be a "problem" in the first place, my intention was for people to utilize CC more often, mold the character to fit their style by using CC, plus with a card like Energize it needs attack cards and it has plenty to pick from as well as Surge to boost them, add in Empower and you can just sacrifice Energize and Super Charged to make it a full Shadow type deck (while using Surged for even more boosts).

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 1:02:45)

That's not really an option for people without X-Boosts. I don't have the full shadow CC or anything close to it available to me as a free player.

TheSage -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 1:08:14)

Well there is always time due to the CC packs will always be around, if you want to get CC for a specific element you can farm for gold while the pack is unavailable then buy packs when it becomes available again.

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 1:10:36)

Yeah, but other people can get it 3-7 times faster...

TheSage -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/23/2013 1:25:02)

well that is the point of SGs and XBoosts, its a short cut for those that don't have the time to spend farming. Either way all the CC cards can be obtained.
