With this update defenses have been given a major buff while offense was given a nerf. However the fact that smokescreen an offensive debuff is improving with a defensive stat even with the nerf it received is still extremely potent.

My suggestion change smokescreen from improving with tech to improving with support to put it on par with the other debuffs.

I have to agree, the Tech synergy the BHs have is too great.

Plus, they will now be able to make Massacre builds as strong as Cybers can!

They are beatable perhaps for not all classes . However I have to agree

the thought of a 5 focus tech abuse bh scares me with the smoke and emp,

Decrease the energy gain on the grenade, will make us a lot less menacing. Also increasing the cost of MoB, they lowered the cost a good bit in this update. Raise it by 2 points or so, I'd say it'd be better.

@Dual Thrusters, so you're saying that BH can now effectively use its own super like all the other classes could? Oh no! [;)]

If you didn't understand, I meant that moving smokescreen to support would allow BHs to create a better Massacre build.

Massacre wasn't really a competitive build until now.

I agree, As for BH making a massive support massacre build that is a good thing providing with the current balance it can be countered.


People are quick to jump to OP build usages but forget the vulnerability to counter in this case now that every class has multiple sources of energy drain I highly doubt they will be able to get around be countered through energy drains without requirng a decent amount of thought and if they do they deserve the win.

i agree Mother1. need improve with support instead of technology. and static emp too. they can 46 energy steal and 23 got himselft. need this static emp improve with support not technology. because they are so strong. i lose 4 and won 0 against bh

Only one of them has to move to support to break the synergy.

Its not as bad as its made out to be. There was synergy between malf and auxillary forever. Still is there. It doesn't need to change, because its one of the few things that actually synergizes in the class. It maybe just needs the regain % to be lowered on the grenade.

to all the reason for smoke improving with tech brings us all the way back to when there were only 3 classes TM, BH, and Mercs.

BHs were designed to be the poison of tech mages with their smoke. the tech part of the skill was to also increase resistance so bh's could withstand TM debuff and spells. so a two birds with one stone senario

Likewise, TM skill tree was build to have a counter with BHs smoke by needing dex to imrpove which would increase def. same as a bh except malf needed sup.

Mercs had the passive +10 def Hybrid armor which was a precaution against smoke but was vulnerable to TM malf and spells

the classes were all meant to counteract each other so no "one" class could be ruling. obviously with the introduction of new classes this is no longer relevant.

i agree that change is needed but that doesn't mean we should stab the "next best" class after each skills update/balance. lol i remember when everyone jumped ship to BHs and Tact mercs when delta first started, its the same thing that's happening now. "the usually easy to kill class is beating me, therefore they're op" or "i've been losing so many times because ( insert class) here keeps on ruining my victory with ( put skill name here)" instead of debuffing and recaling we should look at what needs to be buffed cause constantly nerfing is only going to always put someone at disadvantage.

and to encourage more creative building and countering builds, i honestly think the best step towards less copying and complainng is to just make retrain free or cost less

same thing i said when emp was in him , only smoke and emp (static grenade now) and poison are on tech , there is masacre and reflex boost and energy shield are on supp , changing any of those must be followed by another shifting to balance them and defensive skills are usually on support and moving it to tech will increase its abuse since only focus 5 bhs use supp while 99% of bountys get tech for whoever stays.

and after all some skills must utilise orelse you will break all concentrated builds and leave only focus 5 builds.

i guess i have to repeat myself on this point : bountys are not direct damage dealers so don't complain about the utilising of mechanism because we don't complain about absence of direct damage dealing skills.
