Well, I've been thinking that this is the only class that is having trouble to compete with other classes to gain energy. How about replace it with a new skill that is similar to the Bounty Hunter's "Mark of Blood", but it gains energy per damage?

Static Splotch
- Marks target for 3 turns, granting energy-gain to players that attack the marked target.

Energy Required: 0

Weapon Required: None

Stat Required: 34 Technology

Level Required: 2

Improves With : None

Warm Up: 0

Cool Down: 4

Skill Level

Level 1: 15% Damage to Energy
Level 2: 18% Damage to Energy
Level 3: 20% Damage to Energy
Level 4: 22% Damage to Energy
Level 5: 24% Damage to Energy
Level 6: 26% Damage to Energy
Level 7: 28% Damage to Energy
Level 8: 30% Damage to Energy
Level 9: 31% Damage to Energy
Level 10: 32% Damage to Energy

I have no clue of the right %, but you guys can think of a better one to balance it.

or just take the cooldown a turn. i think it is fine though. but i like this idea ;)

Its decent idea but the problem is that than a mercenary will not be able to drain energy with a skill which will quite badly nerf it since all other classes can gain and drain energy.
