so... as everyone knows BM pretty much have the worst energy drain/ regain in the game since it's purely dependent on the opponents energy pool and therefor easily manipulated to screw over the BM by them just burning through there energy so it just became a wasted turn ( seriously making it a 5 damage attack is so pitiful it's not even funny given tm's can do regular-ish damage with there stupid assimilate move ) What I propose is a change to the skill in the form of a pseudo-buff/ nerf

right now it's 15% energy at a 1.5% regain for the bm... this has zero use late battle when they have no energy unless it's a tm which odds are they will burn there energy the turn after they battery backup anyways. Well how about this

level 1 ~ 1% energy and 1% health drained at a 1.7% regain to the bm

level 10 ~ 10% energy and 10% health drained at a 1.7% regain to the bm

so each level would obviously be +1/1% in each category. This would obviously lower the energy drain effect of the skill to a degree but the inclusion of a way for the BM's to
actually fight against tank builds with ungodly defenses in the form of a hp-vampirism will help this skill maintain it's usefulness in the late game when the energy drain portion is
dead in the water.

and before people start yelling "makes skill op" or something ludicrous like that just think of it this way
10% with a 1.7% regain is 10 health drained and 17 returned against somebody with 100 health now someone with 50 would only be hit for 5 with a regain of roughly 8 or so health. I think that given BM's have lost so much of there main draw ( pure offensive power through strength and passives like deadly aim ) that they really do need some sort of increase in being able to dish out damage through defenses since they have no defensive debuffs to help increase there damage output which means mark of blood is much worse in 90% of the cases up to possibly 100% of them then in cases where it's a bountyhunter using MoB since they have a defensive debuff increasing there output which means they gain much more life from the skill.

not weak, its weakest. all energy skill are better than energy parasite: static smash, static grenade, energy backup and maybe static charge. 5 damage is very low and 1.5x back too ( 4 steal 6 back, 5 steal 8 back, 6 steal 9 back, 7 steal 10 back and etc...). im almost losing my turn. against support build use energy parasite it means u losing chance more than 70-80%. i just don;t know what to to against support build players

I don't like the hyperboles. You make BMs sound as if they were really the worst class out there... <.<

Give it max 20% Energy (at Lvl 10) and make the damage penalty a bit lower. It's not meant to give/drain HP because we've got Mark, and the purpose of Energy Parasite is Energy drain/return, not Health. Besides, players likely want Energy from it, not HP. BMs are the only ones with "different" kind of Energy drain/return skill, and the Energy doesn't need a nerf there.

i'm not sure i see how parasite is a bad or weak skill, because if the opponent burns through their energy then they're still burnt out and if they try to regain you're able to use the skill and stop it... not to mention the skill seems best after using a little mp as it allows the bm to burn through some mp while regaining some back

it's a horrid skill because the only people it even remotely works against are people who regenerate energy and due to the fact they usually burn through there energy the turn after they regen leech pretty much works like a really crappy assimilate but worse... the only solution to keep this skill a viable skill late game in a fight and in general even worth the skill point investment is to make it leech life as well because as it stands this skill flat out sucks.

Basically, even if you try to max it or go at least level 7 the most you can get from your opponent is maybe 15 energy, because as soon as you use it, they'll waste away their energy if and or immediately take it back, far more than you could take, its a lose lose. Furthermore, you HAVE to have at least level 7 or it hardly takes any energy whatsoever. 7% of 45 energy for example isn't allot, it really isn't.
