kaierti1 -> lower support starting game (11/20/2013 15:11:42)

I do not understand one thing. When I have a higher support and the other player has a low, often when the difference is about 15-20, I did not starting the game (i have 60 and my enemy has 40-50). and in the another case if other player has a big difference support than me, he is starting game. can anyone explain this fact? if someone have blue star or blue stars often he is starting against me but he has low support. and "start" depends on achievements or on support? maybe this is bug. check this epicduel please. i know that always must start more higher support player, but now it is not

Higher support =/= you will always go first.

It only improves your chances of going first if you have more support. Also if you are facing a lower level player that also factors in as well.

Being a lower level gives you more of a chance to go first than it would if you have higher support.

Mother1,
i'm saying 36 vs 36. i have 13-16 support and someone 10-12 or 11-14 or 12-15 and often i'm not starting because my enemy has blue star(s). what does it means? but if my enemy has 18-22 and more support starting always he. just i don't understand

Everyone has a chance to go first and it doesn't matter if you have 20+ stats on Support. If you were that person with >20 Support, would you come here on the Forums and complain about it?

Plus there is no favouritism in EpicDuel. I have two blue stars and people with lower Support still go first. Should I complain?
Stars don't prove anything except the dedication you have towards EpicDuel.
quote:

First Strike
First Strike is the chance for a player to get the first turn in a battle. Your First Strike chance is determined by Support and player level.

First Strike Calculations:
Players begin with 50% chance of going first in battle affected by their Support and level relative to the Support and level of all the other players in battle.

Example:
Player A has 60 Support and is level 32
Player B has 80 Support and is level 30

Player A's First Strike chance is (50% + ((60 - 80) * 1.5%) + (-1 * (32 - 30) * 5%)) = 10%
Player B's First Strike chance is (50% + ((80 - 60) * 1.5%) + (-1 * (30 - 32) * 5%)) = 90%

You see, everyone has a chance. This is the same with deflections, critical hits and blocks.
