Mother1 -> RE: The robots (11/24/2013 11:59:26) @ hellion storm They already promised that old rares wouldn't becoming back ever as doing this will devalue people's rares as well as be spitting in the faces of those who got the items on time. However, I do remember the staff saying they would make items that have close to the same effects but in another form. A perfect example of this is frost shards since it does the same thing as frostbite but in a different form. They have done this with mostly all old rares save a few. Eventually they will do this will all the old rares.

Hellion Storm -> RE: The robots (11/24/2013 17:03:42) Either way, I don't think legacy should have any advantage in battle.Also, It takes up valuable resources and time having to design and program a item to do the exact same effect and pulls away from creating new items and content.Its either give people more options for customization or get use to seeing botanical/infernal every match, as its the only viable bots that are seasonally available. That being said, no rare should be anything but a cosmetic at best due to the lack of a trading system. As for spitting on faces, this is spitting on other players faces that wasn't around at the time to obtain a tactical option in battle.
