Black Friday Prize Codes (Full Version)

This definitely isn't a vital suggestion, since I would rather see more balance, but maybe we could have some prize codes on Black Friday?
There haven't been any in a while and I think it would be cool of the devs to do something like this.
I don't really have any weapon suggestions but maybe the weapons could be called Turkey Bane P & E, like the Moose Banes' except with a turkey instead of a moose?
Thoughts?

The reason why they removed prize codes was because everyone who couldn't get the prize codes complained the codes weren't fair. Even when the staff tried to explain it to the masses that a prize is not meant for everyone to get and they were first come first serve (in putting in the codes) the they still complained because they couldn't get the item for free. It got to the point where the staff just stopped giving out prize codes period because of this.

As for the suggestion itself while that would be cool, and I support it.

However if they were to do it needs to be done like this.

1 have 1 one code
2 have this code restocked 3-4 (this prevents the same people from getting the prize 4 times, makes it fair to different time zones, and give different people a shot at getting it)

They did this with the azreal deathbringer and it made the masses happy since they got the shot of getting it and the horders couldn't claim more than 1 of the second code.

I feel like the devs deserve Friday off. Because of this I do not support this suggestion.

well what if on black friday... on only 1 DAY! every item is at half price?

50% off can't happen. Epic Duel doesn't work like that. This isn't some big corporation that can afford to pull off stuff like this. The devs in ED live off of the money we give them for varium.

Having every item at half price can cause inflation even if it's for one day. It's nice to think about things like this happening for us but it's not a possible option. The devs need to take a couple days off for thanksgiving. Lets not be selfish.

chosen I think he means in game items... which means just the run of the mill basic items that people may want but not want to shell out a lot of credits for. if so then I would support if he means varium packs half off then hell no that is a terrible idea :P

turkey bane is not a bad idea, well the devs are not going to be available for the rest of the week that's why they rolled the release early, there might be a couple of items coming next week on cyber monday, i know charfade wanted to stick a bike in but she didn't have the time. hopefully some weapons would be available as price codes or sold ingame for a cheap price ^^

if they truly did get rid of prize codes they need to stay gone... in game for a price ( cheap is even better ) is for sure the way to go...

you misunderstood me, i said there might be prize code weapons but certainly not bikes, plus i don't know the current situation with prize codes, if the staff wants to rid them forever or not

I like how the only Prize Code now is for the Arcade Token. I think it is fair not to show any bias, on purpose or not, to any set of players.

arcade token codes are perfectly fine in my opinion as it's an item that can be obtained in game even if only through varium/ the token quests. It still doesn't give items
that will only be obtainable from the code so everybody has a chance at it no matter where they are or what sort of connection they have etc etc.

I'm against! It's unfair! People at like lvl 20 have op weapons from it, while those of ppl at like lvl 30 stink!

do you know what op means? players get nothing except a weapon which even is un upgraded so all you get is rarity and art

The problem with these codes is the hoarders who are so greedy and just abuse and get all the codes for their accounts.
The new players can't even get a code within the first 2 minutes.
