hi all, i wanted to post my opinions regarding the recent balance changes, at the moment i have been able to test 4 classes after the change and i made myself an idea on how they are working;

i belive that now that passive are gone, all class reley on certain tipes of skills which are:
buffs, debuffs, helth regains, enegy regains, energy drains, and dmg skills.
now if this is true i dont understand why some classes have weaker or not have some tipes of skills, a good example is merc, which doesnt have an effective shield while all classes have 2, or the tlm which is the only class whitout a debuff, or ch which is the only class tht cant get hp or ep back (yes static charge still sux alot), or bm and bh which for some reason have MOB.
what in saing is tht if we want balance, all skills need to be balanced, which means tht all classes should drain and regain the same ammount (like bh and tm which are perfectly equal on this point) all classes should have an effective buff and debuff and all classes should have an equal way to get hp back.

Ok something you got wrong. Merc's have their hybrid armor which was converted from passive to active. It has the power of defense matrix and Energy shield in one, and not only that but unlike normal buffs it isn't affected by the Azreal weapons old and new. That right there make this a superior shield for them then any of the other normal buffs.

As for Tactical merc, since they no longer have passives shields, or passive energy gain I can agree with you there.

yes ik tht merc have a good shield, but differently from the other shields is good just to tank up urself, not even near to the help tht other shields give u on debuffs.

I would not go that far with it.



And Bounty Hunter and Cyber Hunter have Shadow Arts on top of their 2 protection skills; I find that redundant and would only use Shadow Arts instead of the 2 others.

^ i haven't really seen anyone use shadow arts, i tried it but i honestly haven't figured how to use it it's just easier to use the shields that i know will work, especially seeing shadow arts takes more mp

i have to agree with this. They used to have smokescreen, which was a huge advantage back in delta, but now, not so much. Without wanting to tip the game in their favor, i say they should bring back smokescreen for tlm's, now that it is not as effective as before.

Lol the turn you give up using shadow arts on, with the extra attack they get on you causes it to only block a net of 10% damage at least

tlms got field commander which is superior to smoke because smoke reduces rage gain while field commander doesn't.
just because they don't have a debuff because they are defensive class style , or rough one while others as they look thinner they are more focused on either damage or counters.

smoke slighty reduces rage gain, but it still give u way more rage than buffs since it deals dmg.

actually in big doses it gives less than half the rage you wouldve got.
