I quit because I got bored but I have found new life in doing a weekly segment on my youtube channel that is just the mission chains of EpicDuel. Started with a brand new character as a class I never really played much as so it is a pretty novel experience so far

What I like about the Epic Duel community is that everyone knows each other. Some of us might not get along at times but it is my opinion that we are the closest community in AE by far.

i played because i had some hope left for this game but now i think im gonna stop because of how terrible it is. people make fun of u constantly, some certain var players are very rude and think they are better than every1 just becuz they jump to the next oped class(shouldnt use names) 2v2 is terrible. bm is suking since so called passive-active skill update, no balance update when its obvious what needs to be done, bh oped for 2-3 weeks, bm uped for a month, cant do 1v1 without bh, oped new cores, oh yay some level 31 called me a noob after i lost a 2v2 because my level 30 partner left.

Thanks to the static grenade and the new broken promo, I no longer play.

I might try to fix the game in the forums a while longer but honestly hope reduces with every balance breaking release.

@ the hidden legend,

I feel your pain man.

It actually really annoys me that after every content release they have to try and salvage balance form their OP new weapons they just made.

Plus releasing content when balance and the fun of the whole game in general has dramatically reduced since beta.

This thread has veered so far offtopic that it's unbelievable.

The title of the thread is "Why do you still play?". That's a pretty simple concept. There are many varying answers so far, which is interesting to read. But, it seems that a few players don't know when they are being baited. They will reply to anything in order to "prove" themselves to be right. Responding to rule breaking posts is never a good idea. All it does is highjack the thread and makes them rulebreakers, also. And, sadly, that is the catalyst for a lot of thread closings and deletions. Those same people have been told in the past to refrain from doing that, but to no avail.

In the future, please do not respond to rule breaking posts. If you are not sure if a thread is veering offcourse or has a rulebreaking post, you can always ask any Archknight of this forum, or any Moderator.
Unfortunately, because of player disregarding rules and good advice, this thread shall now be closed, too.

For the record, I need to also make one more statement:

Giving negative feedback is part of the process of any gaming forum. However, since the AE Forums are family-friendly, we require respect, courtesy and constructive criticism. This means that players are indeed allowed to give negative feedback. But they must do so with the intent of helping to improve, not tear down. This means that tantrums, disprespect, flaming and baiting will not be tolerated.
If you feel that you cannot give constructive criticism, then perhaps it is time to walk away from the computer, gather your thoughts, come back when you feel that you can do so.
The rules enforced on these forums are not difficult to abide by.
