hi all.

as many of u, i belive the balance is quite crappy at the moment, hopefully the staff will solve this problem as soon as possible.

after testing a bit i would like to post my personal solutions for each class.
first of all i belive tm and bh are quite balanced between them selfs, but very op if compared to other classes and since i would mostly prefer a buff insted to a big nerf here are my solutions:

ciber hunter: static charge changed to the old mode, where the energy regain isnt affected from enemies defences, gives 18-19ep at max whit 50 str, emp cost gets lowered from 19 at max to 10 at max, plasma armor cost gets lowered from 31 at max (i think) to 23 at max , improoving 1 ep each lvl, like MoB.

bm: energy parassite changes in a mode where the drain and the regain arnt affected from enemies energy, it drains 8ep each turn for 3 turns giving back 1.5ep

merc: static smash changes to unblokable, hibrid cost lowered to 23 at max, improoving 1 ep each lvl

tlm: smoke gets added to the skill three, replacing field commander, atom smash cost gets lowered from 15 at max to 10 at max, becomes unblokable

tm: assimilate gets a 10-20 % nerf

bh: static granade doesent improove whit nothing, like assimilate or battery.

Since you want some feedback I will give you some

For cyber hunter the old school mode for static charge was the way it is now except it was blockable. It wasn't until later on that the made it where it ignored defenses. However making it go back to ignoring defenses once again with it having up to 70% energy conversion at max? if I were to max that out, and use little strength I would get a huge amount of energy back for it at the higher levels.

3-4 33 36-37 X .7= 25.2 -25.9. Rounded it would be 25-26 energy and this is without any investing in strength due to it working with raw damage. at lower levels this wouldn't be an issue but near the cap it can be overpowered. I would say if it does go back to working with raw damage lower the percents it converts back into energy so you actually have to invest in strength to get a decent gain.

For merc with the hybrid armor no. Unlike other buffs it has immunity to azreal buff breakers which in itself makes it superior protection over the others. Not only that but it is 2 shields in one so even though it only protects 50% of each at max it is still worth it's energy cost.

For bloodmage I have no complaints with it, but someone else might see the problem with it.

for TLM while they are lacking a debuff, smoke would be bad debuff to give them. Even though they don't have a lot of strength based skills TLM with smoke was a problem in the past because of this. Even with the changes they made giving them back smoke could bring forth this problem all over again if not worse. See all the focus 5 tech BH? TLM's would be doing the same thing or be using strength Tech buids with mineral armor for defensive shield if needed.

for TM 10-20 nerf to what? The drain the gain or both? I remember they buffed up the drain and nerfed the gain because otherwise it would fall behind with drainers. Remember out of all the energy drainers this one is the weakest one, and not everyone uses it for the energy gain. Weaken it and it won't be an effective energy drainer.

For Bounty hunter that would help it but the problem would be the scaling. If it is made too weak then they won't have an effective drainer. too high and it is too potent. Also Assimilate improves with strength.

ch: i have not stated any info on the %, i just said it should give back 18-19 ep whit 50 str, which isnt what u are talking about.

merc : i agree the hibrid armor is very good but have u tried to use it at a low lvl (4-5), well its not effective on debuffs and it still cost 20+ ep; the 1st reason why i want the armors cost to get lowered is because mark of blood got an unecssary buff.
i feel to put MoB and armors on the same lvl because the current skill three is based on old passives, so the skills that replace old passives must to be balanced between them

bm: well i tried it and the parassite is well tought but costantly countered

tm: "assimilate gets a 10-20% nerf" assuming the effect remains the same that is enought info

I like a lot of these suggestions,

And now that TLMs no longer have a passive armor I am fine with them having smoke.

The only problem I have is the static grenade change, although I agree it needs a nerf I don't think that is the way to do it because skills that dont improve with a stat tend to be kinda boring an restrict creativity whilst only needing to be temporary balance solutions.

Plus dont forget improving with technology is also a weakness as it allows it to be countered by malfunction for example.


Static grenade needs to be fixed some other way.


Otherwise good suggestions I support most :)

in all honestly the granede not improoving is kinda more of a buff, since if we want to keep the energy abilites of bh on pair whit tm the granade should still drain 42-43 energy.
i feel like one of the reasons tech bh is the dominant build for bh is the granade itself, so removing the tech scale will bring variety to the class aswell, like the tm which is very succesfull both whith caster and 5f build

^ IMO the only the thing that skill needs is a cost in some shape or form such as a small HP cost perhaps.

mother1, what if they didnt nerf assimilate because i agree it is pretty weak, and the passive armors cost stay the same or lower by maybe 3 energy, cybers wouldnt have an energy regen giving back as much as b4 and if they did they could make it have a 3 turn cooldown, the main thing is giving it a fixed amount, because the only way they can currently get good energy back from static charge is to be a strength build and have malfed somebody, if they are facing tank, they are most likely doomed, remorse, not everybody has malfunction, maybe leave it on tech but make the scaling far greater, decrease base amount, and increase return

And your pic doesn't mean much b/c one person's class was covered by the private chat. Plus, BH have always been very offensive so lots of them were on LBs before P2A.

srry i dont understand, u are not able to see my class anyway since im in 15th position, u can just trust me i was a focus tech mage, i think ur not looking the right part of the pic

i belive that i can be good and luky as much as i want, but if i get in lb whit 60wins and 100% win ratio, then something whit the class or build is very broken and since i tested it in 1st person, ik for sure this "something" is the energy gap.

There will never be true balance as long as players can easily class change and copy builds. This is the reality of this game.
