thr problem with deflection is that you are using it against tech mages which probably have 130+ tech so they got 25% chance to deflect it , which could lead to you being unlucky that's all.
crict was nerfed to 30% deflection was unaffed from 50%
the problem with lvl gap is the server counts your teamate as 36 but gives you extra gold in retaurn if you win which is called level advantage , it's normal and has been happenning since game release , thr gap is up to 6 lvls.
ways to overcome that will be using less tanky build which will force enemys to go for you instead and support your teamate with heals or shield for debuffs if they focus him , stay as team and never lose hope so you can win.
your teamate will mostly listen to you since you are higher lvl so it's easier to make a plan , it needs a good adaptable build too.
