Chaosweaver Amon -> Consecutive Post Suggestion (12/6/2013 18:01:23)

I know we can't post two messages withing a short amount of time to stop spam, or lag, right? But I was thinking, instead of changing the page, then having to re-type the entire post (on some browsers), perhaps either the (OK) button isn't clickable until that time is up? Or we just get a little message at the top of the page? Something along the lines of it, to stop having to re-type certain posts again and again. Would this be an issue somehow?

i really like this idea, and think it could definitley help to improve the forum. perhaps if the time alloted has not run to zero, we could just simply not be able to post?

One thing that has helped me is every time I post messages close together I simply select the whole text and control+c it just in case it doesn't go through that way if I was too fast I just have to paste and don't have to rewrite everything.

I doubt this is possible for one of two reasons:

1. The forum is running an ancient, though heavily modified, version of ASPPlayground
2. Not even IP.Board and vBulletin have such an option within their suites, and these two are considered the best forum software suites around.

If you use Google Chrome or Firefox, it should retain what you've written if you press backspace or the back button.
