I don't know if there a thread on this already but for the hell of it lets do this. I have played epicduel in a very long time. I have decided to put up one last thread before I leave. What were the funnest builds you have ever created that actually worked. The time period can be from any phase of ED. personally my 2 favorite were the heal looping mages who were very hard to kill in beta and in delta i made the tankiest tactical merc and i was unkillable muahaha. Enhancements made the game ridiculous. The build was 140 hp with 40 armor and energy resist.

For me an all around build that doesn't abuse any stat but at the same time looked weird to most who saw it. While it had it's flaws I could make it work to the point where I could beat any of the flavor of the week builds. Sadly with several balance updates it got nerfed hard while buffing a lot of other builds.

I had a Plasma Grenade build with loads of tech. Okay..this build looks stupid, but it was hella deadly in 2v2. EP drainers couldn't stop me because I had generator, then switched to piston punch. My EMP Grenade drained -60 so pretty much any skill you had was toast. Another variant I used was with multi-shot. The stats for tech and dex were just swapped. I stopped using this when static grenade came out Remember in Omega when Tlms were using the so called "OP" Surgical Strike + IA combo? My build to counter it was high defense/strength. I just spammed Static Charge on rage, and threw an EMP Nade everytime their EP started to get uncomfortably high. Keep repeating, and you will out-heal loop them. I stopped using this build when caster TM came out. Another build that was fun was my Support-Focus Cyber. I had support merc- styled support, and of course 5 focus. Malf and DMatrix were super amped. I would also get swift rages, meaning IA was almost always ready. I stopped using this when focus was nerfed. I could name like 3 others, but I'm still using them, so hands off :P

before the last three updates i had this dex abusive cy hunter build that had decent str and even better support it was really fun to use as i wasn't a tank but my defenses were on par plus i had a nice offense coupled with the poison bot and tho i never used it often rage multi did have it's uses but that was before passives became actives now i'm just a support type cy with focus in str and tech as well

I've experimented with a lot of builds during Delta and Earlier. My favorites have to be my last 2 builds, Super Charge BloodMage and 5 focus Tech BloodMage. I was using these builds when everyone was on the bandwagon of STR BloodMage. It made me stand out and I liked it. Then they copied. Then the fun went away. Now I'm using a Sort of Fun build but due to balance issues, there ain't a lot of Fun involved.

Fun Builds are not fun against OP copy builds.

Yes they are. That's why they're fun. Fun is just something you get a kick out of using. Obviously you'll lose sometimes, because the build is made for fun, not winning. If it happens to win often, that is just a bonus.

Im currently using a support blood mage build. With max reflex boost to give me plus 70 dex and then I use overload/ rain as well as a strong aux in between. both my shields are great and compensate for the low defense (plus 36 energy shield) as well as an amazing STR debuff for the STR builds. The only problem with this build is it is so vulnerable to drains even with generator, and since BH consist of around 80% of the match-ups at high level now I basically can't use it, But fun it is :)

Heal Looping was hilarious....and terrifying. Killing a heal looper took so much work. It has to be my favorite build, granted only because it's gone.

Right now I'm using a 134 dex build with 130 HP pretty fun, I can't say I win much battles though.

Back in delta I had a really wonky 2v2 CH build... 109 HP, 153 energy, high poison and mass, low malf, level 3 EMP, moderate field medic, and literally no strength and fairly moderate support. It was a supporting build, where massacre's static damage boosts were only for a finisher, and I supported through debuffs, healing, EMP, and poison damage mostly. Worked quite well if your ally could actually do stuff. Junk if you ended up soloing both enemies.

dex bounty. medium stun grenade , lvl 7 multi , static grenade enough for heal , enough energy for stun and multi.medium str. it was fun.

CH with very high support and moderately high tech. High malf, shadow arts, and plasma grenade with the rest in plasma armor. I start first, and if they have high health and low defenses, I use my zooka. If they were low health at all, I use my grenade first, with a 40% chance of stunning, and then kill them with zooka. Usually a 2-3 shot kill, and it was extremely fun. It beat str blood mages with ease. In delta, I had a BH build with mid-low res and moderate defense. It had 100 health with mostly all skills. I could adapt to anyone with the build, usually ending with a rage multi shot.

200+ Hp works surprisingly well in 2v2 and in some cases 1v1 when you're not being high smoked every fight. Not sure if its due to my mark of blood though. Using 240 atm. Edit : Been using this the last 2 days both 1v1 and 2v2. http://prntscr.com/2b15na

the most fun build i have ever used was an 2 v 2 ch build in delta i used to have focus lvl 5 with high hp and str using 1 lvl massacre :D it actually worked for 1 month but then i changed my class to tm and started using a glass cannon build which people saw op some months ago i used to use high str and supp in delta as tm so those were my 2 fav builds

Support builds were always my favorites, whatever it was with mercs or tac mercs. I used to have a really fun bot / bunkerbuster build when the Gamma bot came out in Gamma phase. The more I think about it, Mercenary was and still is the funniest class. C'mon guys, a critical Bunkerbuster hit right in the face is priceless. DBag

My 2 favorite were my old TLM jug build from when they still had maul and smoke(100% jugg wins=priceless) and the CH build I had during Infernal War, did equally well in 1v1 and 2v2 WITH THE SAME BUILD. Those were the days....
