liy010 -> Promoting a YouTube Channel (12/9/2013 15:23:59)
Would I be able to promote my YouTube Channel through my signature? I remember some rules about not being able to use the text "Click Here!", but is there somewhere I can see the full guidelines and restrictions?

So I see there's a rule saying "No advertising".
I'm just curious, where is the line drawn between advertising and just putting something up for people to see? For example, if I put my YouTube Channel in my sig, but I don't say "Click Here!" or "Check this out!" or "Cool Videos Here!" or anything along those lines, would that be alright?

That'd still be considered as advertising, as you're posting links from outside.You could just link your sig to a twitter/Facebook account where you could post links of your YouTube videos.

Edit: Thx for the info Skurge!

Yes, you may embed a YouTube Channel link in your signature as long as the videos associated with said channel are not PG-13+. As for text: to avoid any complications, I'd suggest writing something like "liy010's YouTube Channel!". You may not advertise or write something along the lines of "Click here!" or "Awesome videos! Clicky!" as that would be considered misleading information.
