Steel Slayer -> Armor passives (12/16/2013 12:06:22)

The rare armor passive cores seen to be UP compared to the regular credit cores. The 2 I'm talking about here are Frost Aura and especially Curse Aura. The main reason I'm saying these are UP is that they only have a chance to be applied on regular strike, while things like Ninja Reflexes apply to all attacks. Suggestions:

Frost Aura- Why do people use strike? They're out of energy, that's why. What does Frost aura do? Removes energy when people strike you. Kind of a contradiction there. I suggest this be changed to be able to proc on all melee attacks. Keep in mind, it still only has a 11% chance to do anything, so it would hardly be OP this way.

Curse Aura- Already not real useful, since not many builds use much support, the builds that DO use support don't use strike....well ever really. So I suggest that this be allowed to proc off of ANYTHING anyone does to you. Keeping in mind, it still only has a 13% chance to proc, and the debuff for the most part doesn't do much to the vast majority of builds, at least that way it has some chance to be relevant.

Supported, though Im not a particular fan of % chance things.

I would prefer it is say frost aura reduced eg. 2-3% of the targets maximum energy per melee strike ( around 1-2 energy for every melee strike)

- And curse aura reduced the opponents support by 5 per strike (strike only not all melee attacks) lasting 3 turns but stacking and refreshing the duration if another strike is received before the duration ends.

DarkDevil -> RE: Armor passives (12/17/2013 2:39:55)

actually 1% per strike will be OP , think of someone with just enough energy for his build , it will always be rounded to 1 , therefore you just sit back and watch him destroy his build cus of a core ?

Your reason is invalid. Strength Bounty Hunters, along with other Strength builds from other Classes, Strike regardless of them having over 40 Energy. These suggestions act like buffs to the Armors and this has a problem - promotional package items will never get buffed. Delta Knight was promotional item but you could buy it in-game, however. Now if these Passive Cores do get changed, I don't really care.

I use my Armor, Delta Knight, because it's one of the best looking Armors for a Mercenary + the stats it had in Delta were useful. I don't care about the Passive Core because I can't seem to find a better looking Armor.
