dfo99 -> anti-noob system on 2v2 implementation (12/18/2013 0:54:42)

allow the player select the gap lv and not fight with sub or non equiped players before the system start search

This Has Been Suggested Many Times Over The Years. Many Long Time 2vs2 Players Have Grown Tired Of Having Partners That Do Not Have Guns And/Or Auxes.

Obviously, Not Only Do These Boost Stats But Also Give Those Players More Options Regarding Their Battle Choices.

It Should Be Mandatory, Especially At Higher Levels, That You Must Have All 3 Slots Equipped To Enter A Battle.

Now, With NPCs To Farm "Free" Credits And Missions To Help Award Weapons And Credits... There Is No Excuse For Having To Suffer With A Barely Equipped Partner.

It's Not Fair. It's Not Cool. And It Should Not Be Allowed.

Let's Hope A Stricter Code Can Be Installed For Battle Selection, Especially At The Highest Levels Of Play.

People keep suggesting this because its such a heavy issue within the game. I've played long sessions where there was a level 30 on 1 side nearly every fight and its even worse when their build stinks. That gap has to be lowered.

Not supported on either.

Letting players choose the gap they play at will have an affect on everyone's game play not just their own. Especially since we have a small amount of players already. Anyone looking for a fight with this in play would be forced to waiter even longer since people who would normally be put into battle would be omitted because someone else changed their range. In the most extreme cases matches won't even start due to this.

As for the fully geared player rule not supported as well. Seriously you are thinking on the scale of higher levels and not lower levels. Unless a person has brought varium at lower levels they will not have full gear, and most players play 2 vs 2 to get credits to buy gear. Forcing players to play 1 vs 1 just because you don't want to possibility of being paired with them is very selfish IMO and ruins another players fun.

@ Buffy

even with NPC they don't scale like they used to either. thanks to the change of NPC the most credits you will get from them will be 22 credits if they are on your level and you don't get more credits like you would for battling higher level opponents and winning like before either.

Plus no offense but most players find NPC grinding boring and tedious especially for the nerfed rewards they offer. forcing players to do this, or play 1 vs 1 and destroy their records isn't fair to said players either.

Personally a better idea to combat the no gear problem would be for all new players to get a full set of starter gear meaning they get a sidearm, aux, armor and primary instead of just the primary and armor.

@Mother1
This would kind of be a bit pointless.

If the items aren't upgraded to their normal level then it doesn't really change much because you can buy sidearm for 90 credits, there were prizecodes for auxes and primary weapon comes free.
It usually isn't that they can't afford an aux it is that they can't upgreade it to their current level which makes a way more sense.

Only in really low levels where the unexperienced players don't know a lot about the game would make sense.

But if you are saying that all the items would be upgraded to their level then this would create even more problems like varium looses its power, and it would kind of remove the point of playing apart from the looks ect.

Just because another player isn't at the same level as you or has the same equipment as you, does not give you the right to want to pointedly exclude them. "Anti-Noob" is disrespectful in and of itself and by no means will suggestions pointed at the exclusion of others in such a disrespectful way be allowed. As such I will be locking this thread. ~Therril Oreb
