well... as we all know lots of changes were being made to make this game more balance..
but sad to say that there is a HUGE imbalance w/ the latest update...
to point out LOOP HEALING is being abused again...

it was the main reason why Field Medic was changed from 3 cooldowns to 4 cooldowns since it was being abused by tech mages during beta days..
today it's being done again since they both have assimilation and Battery Backup...

... i think it would be fair enough if they would nerf one of those skills... i.e. make Assimilation " BLOCKABLE " .. or,, make the Battery Backup skill cooldown longer...

Or Battery Backup should work like Reroute but for 3 turns only - to give back energy only if you're damaged.

Actually that would solve a lot of problems and actually balance TM since when they put in battery backup they in turn over buffed caster tank TM.

I would say yes to a classic Reroute-type of skill but that will not be a reliable energy gain. If it is dependent on the opponent then extrapolated energy gain is unknown: the range is too high.

Edit: This includes Energy Parasite as well.

Just take the energy return away from assimilation, playing with battery would hurt TLM, and they are already hurting.

Why not just give Static Smash to BM? Might give them some incentive to use a staff, and would be MUCH better than Parasite.

or just swap assimilate with parasite so that bm get assimilate and tm gets parasite.

What's wrong with heal looping? Its actually really strategic and there are a lot of variables you have to consider.The real problem is that not every classes have the resources to stop it or do it themselves.

imo.. they should do something about it... since some are already doing loop healing...
to be fair.. assimilation should be nerfed,, if not taken out, so as not to hurt the TLM's,, since changes are being made to move forward "Balance-wise"..
not to ga back to that annoying stage again where LOOP HEALING was being abused

what if the old reroute was like the reverse of poison but with mp... over a certain amount of turns the caster receives x amount of mp back i'd say sort of like parasite except the number wouldn't be affected by anything

/Agree. Just because you cant figure out a way to beat it, doesn't make a build OP. There enough energy drains in the game now, if someone is looping, it's because you let them.

Fight a Loop Healer and u will know what it's like

Every class has an EP drainer, so if they heal loop its all because you aren't stopping them.

And you never answered, what is wrong with heal-looping? All you said was "People are heal looping, and heal-looping is bad IMO!"

It is a long and very annoying process that hogs the time of everyone involved.

Only if you can't stop the process itself. Plus the staff made balance changes so matches would become longer believe it or not. All those nerfs to offense while buffing defense was for that purpose, and heal looping believe it or not makes matches longer as well.

Shame they don't have the pyro fly available for all anymore. If you get battery or assimilation taken out there goes the heal loop.

I have seen equal want of long and short battles.

Also, it's like something I saw brought up once, people with fast wins and low w/l ratios and people with slow games and high w/l ratios. People have different play styles and as the game is PvP there will be some clashes, but nerfing a build or strategy just because you don't like it seems sort of off.

It is a good strategy, and so some skill in the timing is required. You can't just spam skills and win (except at very low levels).
